Bout time they opened up a game. The eye’s for the ball on Addison is great, the adjustments he makes is really fun watching.

What gets me is how this shooter is able to escape using public transport. You gotta think someone recognized him at some point.

One thing I did notice with all the labs we had over the years is the yellows had thick coats and under coats big ole otter tails on them, not sure if it was a coincidence but the 2 blacks we have now and a previous black are as fine as shorthairs… almost.

I suppose it’s all about what they are used too. Keeping inside dogs out in a garage might pose a problem. The labs we have, I gotta fight for the covers… and no way they’d spend a night in a garage without ALOT of whining. They are to accustomed to human interaction.

My kid sent this to me yesterday, not sure if the #’s are correct but it’s pretty interesting. Although I thought the 98 team was more balanced.

The Vikes defense looked real tired in the fourth, what did we go 3 punts and an int, guessing. If it weren’t for the monster first half we’d be sitting at 3-1. Love’s first game back picked us apart after half, maybe we played more conservative who knows but they have the running game covered, need to key in on the air game…

If they find something out of wack but the so called sales guy had it running in the back before giving it to you, I’d call him out…

Just like mentioned at the start of the thread, older Stihls are much better than the new. Not sure if i could get used to no primer, your old poulan and my husky start the same. Hit it 3 times full choke and 1 pull it’s running. No brake for me, I always start em on the ground and not in one hand. If your skeptical yet, return it. Get something your comfortable with.

Since the mid 80’s I’ve owned 3 Chevy, 1 gmc and 1 Ram pick up. They’ve all done great, no major work just tires, batteries and brakes. The Ram( currently) and the gmc are heavy trucks which look great compared to a half ton if you ask me. The kid has a Rebel, yes decals and all but it’s a sweet truck, lift assist you name it. He has 43000 on it and his tires look new yet. My heavy truck with a sheep on the back, just might get another…

You see how dejected they looked leaving the bench after the game? Tells it all. But, getting out hit 11-3 in 10 innings is not good. All year long they’ve struggled against good teams, I wish them well but they won’t last long…

That time of year for those yellow jacket ground bee’s. Nasty little fellers, I like the idea of dragging it off in the yard, and run!!

Thanks for the heads up Mike. Well a few weeks back the Daughter sent those pics to her Town house association, a few days later they responded saying that it’s approved for removal. A week later a fella showed up at high noon not to mention it was a windy day and sprayed it from the ground. We were over there yesterday for some other projects but it’s funny the nest is still in full contact, can’t even tell it was sprayed. I watched that hive several different times from both angles and never seen a bee come or go.

Thought of grabbing the hose and blast it off but looking out her window the gutters are right below it and figured I’d just fill em, sooooo leaning towards when it’s cold out scraping it off, be kinda neat to check it out up close.

I hadn’t been to the fair since maybe “87”, but last year the wife talked me into going. Parking was easy off of como, great big fields can hold any size vehicle. We went on a Sunday it was definitely warm out but we had a great time, spent a bunch, walked a bunch and ate too much. Not sure if we’ll go this year but it would neat to go during the week to check out some live news casts and shows, not much of that on a Sunday..

Good call netguy, I believe it’s a slider. That’s where I was going to start checking holes they use. Man that would be in your face action, I’ll hafta think about that one.. quickly spray and slam er shut!!

Thanks guy’s! Yeah I’m kinda timid myself when it comes to pain not seen coming. I gotta get over there to find out the main entrance they use. Here’s my 2 options of getting close, the closer pic I’m not sure I can zap the hole, the other I’m pretty sure I can get.

I know it Glenn. Great ideas, especially move..lol! Well picked up a can of Spectracide from home dump today, shoulda grabbed a two pack but I also like blasting it afterwards with water. It’s in a tight spot above her garage so it’s looking like getting on a ladder 5 or 6 steps up I can be in range, thinking the garage door will be open for shelter
Another problem, I won’t be able to do it after dark, sooo maybe in the afternoon on Wednesday but sure would be nice to keep that sucker intact but that won’t happen unless we wait til fall..

I just had our 5 month old lab fishing last week for the first time. As with our other dogs and what was mentioned about hooks we keep them high and out of reach. To keep the dogs more in tuned they get to lick and smell every fish that comes in, the live well sometimes acts like a babysitter at times also if they seem bored. I hate to leave em at the dock, they enjoy being on the water.

While we’re talking Shiners, any you guys set out traps? Usually we can get em with dip nets and a seine net in different spots but putting a trap along side the dock would be worth a try. All I have is a small tube trap, any suggestions to lure em in??

based on the thousands of shiners swimming up & down the shallows of my shoreline last weekend, there should be no shortage this season…

Already in, sheez. I figured the original post was referring to spot tail shiners.

Thanks for the heads up, we go thru quite a bit also, lately in the oven but usually grilled. Last summer I got called for a random at work and sure enough we had asparagus the night before. The nurse and I had a good chuckle afterwards.

One of our sheds at the cabin let’s the beatty eyes in. Tried lots of different methods except the cotton balls n peppermint oil. Nowadays we just put a small pail of rv antifreeze with a couple ramps leading up. Usually get around 10. And no smell come spring.

I have a Merlin that is picking off the sparrows that often raid the bird feeder.

Can I barrow him..lol. During the summer we have a Coopers hawk that’ll control the chipmunk population under the feeders.

birds here in Cold Spring are far and few between. but they are thick at the cabin. mainly woodpeckers, nuthatches and chickadees. i put up one of the peanut butter feeders, small branches with holes in them, mix some sunflower seeds in the peanut butter….. after the first day they clean it out daily!!!!!

You deer hunt. Keep the fat you trim off the critter and render it in the oven in an old pot or pan, strain it to get the cracklings out of it then stir in a jar of cheap creamy peanut butter and use that to stuff your feeder.

He’s gotta shoot one first..lol. I gotta figure out what to do with the sparrows. I get lots of other birds but it seems the sparrows are taking over.

I mentioned it before but I sure hate to see water temps on opener alot higher than normal. The bait fish will have come in shallow, spawned and moved out… that’s a big one fer the bait shops in our area.

The neighborhood book of faces group mentioned putting blue lights in the outdoor fixtures. Think I’ll stop at home dump and get 2 blue and a red. Should look pretty neat.

It’s funny everytime I get to go to Walmart with the mrs I go down the 1 isle of fishing stuff, ya never what you’ll find. And here I thought the south metro had the migrants working the stores, Willmar of all places is plum full of em also. My aunt from Alabama came fir a visit several years ago, never seen a Somalian, until she came here.
