Even with having 2 of the same brands of flashers right next to each other there is always going to be interference, but it will be minimal. The good thing about the marcum is that it has the interference button that you can change, I’m sure you can find a frequency that allows both of the flashers to work. I’ve done it with my marcum vx1i with 2 other flashers being a few feet away from me and I got it to work.

I am in the Minneapolis area too so here’s my advice…
I would recommend a power auger over the hand auger because it’s going to give you more, and better fishing time. I strongly recommend propane over gas augers. I have a jiffy auger that I have used for years and i love it because you don’t have to worry about waiting for a few minutes to warm it up like a gas auger, it has just a little less power than gas but I drill many holes and I don’t have to change the augers propane tanks more than once or twice a season so I have found that it is cheaper for fuel. I can do without the extra power especially if the time difference for drilling a hole is just a few seconds.

Here are some of my ideas…
-Fish for fish that aren’t fished for very much (carp or any other rough fish)
-Largemouth bass (especially top water), you guys don’t film largemouth bass fishing that much
-Make an informational video on how to back up a trailer/put a boat in. A lot of people struggle with it.
    -Boat landing etiquette
-Do a run-through of your boats. It might be interesting to see the details on the new skeeter boats from James’ perspective.
-The main video/event I would like to see would be a tournament hosted by IDO, and then have cameras showing the tournament and make it into an episode. Like the FLW Tour, but just one event and make it an episode.
-I know it doesn’t make a great episode sometimes, but I would like to see a show on how to catch fish on heavily pressured bodies of water. Like Lake Minnetonka. It would be very hard but I think most of the viewers would learn a lot from something like that.

I had the same problem with my skeeter bass boat+175yamaha, a new filter and some seafoam did it for me. Runs perfectly now.
