    Steve,
I was wondering if this bow has 40-50 pound limbs, or 50-60? Also, what price are you asking for the setup.

    Thanks!

Edit: NVM, I see the price on Craigslist, sorry.

My archery pro tells me that 50lb max, you can take about 6 turns out of the limbs, should get you to mid to high 30’s.

It is 50 pounds max, not sure how far you can crank it down but I can ask at the archery shop.

Yes. Any transducer will be compatible but the capabilities will depend on which type of transducer is on your Ulterra. A US2 transducer will only be capable of 2D but a Mega DI transducer will be capable of 2D and DI.

Yes mine is a US2. Is it possible to upgrade to a Mega DI transducer in my current trolling motor?

Congrats James! toast Just goes to show that hard work does pay off! I will miss the show but am looking forward to see what will come next for IDO. Thank you for all of the knowledge you have shared over the years, one of my best times on the water was the night I shared a boat with you and Wade on Mille Lacs fishing the full moon bite. That’s a memory that will I remember for the rest of my life.

Congrats Steve . totally naive on hunting out of state . Do you already have land lined up to hunt , just waiting for a tag ? Public land ? Just curious

Each state is different. Iowa non residents earn 1 point each year you apply depending on what hunt you apply for will determine how many points you need to draw. I am bow hunting which is a harder tag to draw, this is the second Iowa tag I have drawn and it has taken 4 points each time. I will be hunting public land in Allamakee County.

I picked up the climbing stick fixed brackets for my Vanish Evolution and got them installed today, I think I am really going to like this set up for hang and hunts. The hole set up is just a hair over 20 LBS.

I do not have any No-Glow Cams but I do have 6 of the Bushnell Trophy Cam HD Aggressor Low Glow Cams and I have not had a single issue with any of them. Below is a reply in another thread about trail cams.

“I have 6 Bushnell Trophy Cam HD Aggressor Low Glow Trail Cams, I do not remember how old all of them are but I bet the oldest one is at least 5 years old if not older. They all still work great never have had an issue with one of them not working. Like Grouse said battery life is awesome I use lithium’s and they last for over a year. I only run pics on mine instead of videos because videos do eat up the batteries allot sooner then the pics. I also picked these up when they were on sale for $100 or less. Not sure if they even make these anymore but they look exactly like the Essential.”

In case anyone is interested XOP has a sale right now on the 4 pack of climbing sticks in Mossy Oak® Bottomlands or Storm Grey. These are the new sticks with the Patented Lock tight stick stacking system – NO STRAP NEEDED! I am pretty much set in the stand department now, I have 5 of the Maximus XL’s that get put up for the season and in October I picked up The Vanish Evolution for a hang and hunt, I just ordered the 4 pack of sticks in Mossy Oak® Bottomlands to go with the stand.

I deer hunt from Sept to Dec in MN I have an older Scent Blocker suit for midseason that I have had for years but the zipper on the jacket is starting to wear out so time to start upgrading. I decided on the Sitka whitetail line starting out with the Stratus jacket and bibs to replace my Scent Blocker suit. I really like the fit and feel of this set and how well thought out this system is for the whitetail hunter. I will slowly add pieces to this as I can afford them. For the late season I have a Cabela’s Whitetail suit in Realtree that is still in great shape and keeps me very warm. A few of negatives that I do not like about it is, one there is no Safety Harness Pass-Through Port so if I wear my safety harness under the jacket I can not wear the hood. Second the side zippers on the bibs only go up half way making it difficult sometimes to get them over my boots. Lastly it is somewhat bulky so I feel like the Pillsbury doe boy but in the end like I said it does keep me warm.

I have used a True talker for years very good call, I have an older one and a newer one I like the old one better. I bought a Woodhaven Intimidator this year and love this call the grunt tube is easy to use and a very good tone IMHO.
