It has to be the “Pancake Fish” looks just like when you pour in the batter and it drips a little extra and makes the tail.

HAHA WIDNR estimated it to be 74lbs, Hopefully it wasnt the same group of people that estimate the deer population, hard telling how big it actually was.
one of my favorite lines “when I die I hope my wife doesn’t sell all of my fishing stuff for what I told her I paid”
Do you guys usually use walking sinkers or bottoms bouncers. I made up a bunch of these a couple years ago and have not used them all that much. I think that I am going to try to use them more often this year. Also do you guys use them while trolling or just keep moving with the trolling motor? I think I am going to get a bunch of different answers but I was just wondering what you prefer.
Thanks
Len,
Just curious what your fly of choice will be on the first day, a big bugger or tiny nymph?
I put a non magnifying red dot scope on my Remington Genisis ML last year. I know it is not the most expensive set up but I can sure hit the bullseye with it. I too wish you could use a scope in Wisconsin’s ML season, but until that happens I think the Red Dot is the way to go.
i usually use it for casting in weeds with topwaters for northern and bass, as well as smaller spinner and rapalas.
Here is a trick I use to back up with my side mirrors. Put your hand on the bottom of the wheel, then using the mirrors, if you want the back of the boat/trailer to move to the left/drivers side, move your hand to the left, and do the opposite to go to the right. The only thing I really hate is the convex mirror on the the passenger side.
Try it, it works!!!
This is from a while ago but still a good start

I am an amateur at jig tying and need a little help. Is a collarless jig easier to tie bucktail to, or is it easier with the collar so you don’t use so much material. Thanks for the help.
I didnt catch one but last week while fishing for panfish i had the camera set up and had a nice one come right in about 5 times for my jigging rap. It was probably 45-48 inches. We could see it by looking down our hole in 15 fow. Any ideas on what to try to catch it
I just bought one this year and wouldnt trade it for any other shack. It is lightweight (23lbs) and very easy to set up, one guy can get it up in about 30 sec. Take down is just as fast. It comes with the ice anchors that screw in very easy, and you will need to since the wind can move it around easily. The only down fall is no floor, but the prevous shack I owned had a very slippery plastic floor and things like lanterns and jigs boxes would slide all over and tip over. Overall I think it is a great shack at a great price. As well as very durable zippers and canvas.
Thanks for the quick responses, does anyone in the east metro sell them, or in western wi
hopefully 1/32 and 1/16, I don’t like too much more then that for panfish
Thanks for the input guys, I think I am going to have to try some out
so with that attachment you can shut down the valve so it is just open enough to keep it going. what kind of valve is it?
well i know the photo is real, a person from my hometown hunts the land where it was run over, also i know the lady in the picture and she is only about five foot tall. The pic is real for all those who dont believe
I thought that these same pics were on here a little while ago and were said to be from the Dakota’s, unless my mind is playing tricks on me
i think the best is at flashearth.com, the quality is much better then the others i have used in the past you can get alot closer, you also can right click, hide the navigation, then right click and show full screen, then find the area you want, hit the print scrn button on your keyboard, paste it to paint, then when you want to print adjust it so that it will print on one full page,
Use the Microsoft VE labels maps ( on the left of the website)
my dad use to open the basement window just a crack and then take some newspaper and light it in the stove and it usually sent the smoke up and out
i purchased some of the storm swim baits, i think that they are the 5″ size, the thing that i dont like about them is that they have a really heavy weight in them, they sink way to fast, I wish they had some that length that were unweighted
is it just me or would you rather have a alum. or composite break a blade off rather than have a ss not give if you hit something hard and ruin the lower unit or bend something else inside?
sportsmans warehouse in woodbury has them in bulk 25 cents a piece and any size and color you want
I think i am coming up to the show on tomorrow (sunday) do you guys still have a bunch of stuff left being it is the last day. i plan on stopping by your booth, hopefully to check out some blade baits
