I have an 1875..Id save the money and upgrade the trolling motor to a 36v set up (uses less amps plus an extra battery). I started with a 24v, it would only troll 2-4 hours depending on wind conditions. I can troll, anchor lock, etc all day with no issues with the 36v in any conditions.
Its a tight fit, but all the batteries and charger still fit in (under) the middle rod locker.

Lets be honest guys..there are like 20 of you that post/chat regularly. And many in that group are always attacking other guys (new) for whatever reason. This site feels more like a club that no one else is invited to rather than a outdoors site.

Pretty sure the site would be better off getting rid of ya’ll than these guys. You are costing IDO money with these personal attacks and making people afraid to post as they wish. Must be something in the IDO rules about that?

    Get over yourselves.

We just got our windows/exterior doors done this spring. 12 windows, 3 doors. We got quotes that ranged from 47k to 15k. I ended up buying windows from Home Depot (on sale) and had a buddy in construction install them for around 8k total. Took a bit longer than the bigger companies would have, but he did a great job and half the price. May want to look into something like that. Windows still all have breakage protection as well.

I have the Xi5 w/HDS Lowrance units as well. Love em.
The only time I’ve seen the “no auto pilot computer” warning is when I’ve forgotten to turn on my Master Power switch on the boat. The trolling motor, and graphs start up fine without that switch on, but auto pilot wont work without it on.

Also, if you’ve already deployed the trolling motor and then flip the switch, it still wont work..need to turn it off and back on with master on to work.

Hopefully its as simple as that..

Tie a knot to the end of a long rope. Hook/clamp at the other end to attach to boat. Close the end with the knot in your tailgate, back up slow until boat launches off trailer, slowly pull ahead until you can grab rope from tailgate without getting feet wet. done deal.
