I don’t think its a 2nd nowhere in the description does it say its a 2nd, the online store does have 2nds but they only have a 90 warranty the one I bought has a full 1yr warranty. I’ll look it over when it gets here but to my knowledge its not a 2nd.

Al the great thing here is I was expecting to have about 400.00 in going the cordless route. By buying when the items were on sale I spent just under 250.00, this set up should keep me on the ice for many years!

Al it is made of thin black polymer it has a narrow slit so you can slip it over the top of the auger. Go to fleetfarm.com and do a search you’ll see just how simple this disc is and just how simple it is to install

Brandon I’m using a 8″ Mora Strikemaster with my RIDGID drill I always have the top part of the auger in the van so I’ll always have a backup plan. At 45.00 that the auger cost me I know I’m getting by on the cheap, but its a great value for me.

Well yesterday UPS delivered my RIDGID 1300in lbs 2 speed driver drill R8611506 so today I registered the drill, batter & charger so all will have the RIDGID lifetime service agreement so if any of the 3 go bad or need to be replaced it will be done at no charge to me. This includes the battery too. That’s peace of mind I like!!

I’m no expert but every one that owns that drill says its one of the best and at the price I got for the drill 9Ah battery and charger for 169.00 + tax its one of the best bargains for one of the most powerful drills on the market. I was gonna spend almost twice that for a Milwaukee with almost as much torque as the RIDGID.

Brandon UPS dropped of the drill just after I last posted so I’ll be using it this weekend, Charlie W. I looked at the Milwaukee M18 but the deal on the RIDGID was to good to pass on. 1300 in lbs of torque and lifetime warranty means its all covered even the 9Ah battery & charger. So for buying both drill, battery and charger for 169.00 + tax I think I’ll be drilling many holes with it for years

I tried You Tube but no luck, also tried the internet. The Hideout is in greay condition so I’m hoping someone here is still using one or had used one and can be of help with setting it up for ice fishing when I get to the lake.

Here’s what I just bought the brushless Ridgid 9.0 Octane battery & charger on sale for 169.00 + tax from Home Depot online by buying the 9.0 Octane battery & charger
I was able to get the Ridgid 1300 in”lb drill with an extension handle model # R8611506B Free!! I’ll combine this with my 8″ Mora Strikemaster auger I added a 16″ extension and a 9″ disc to prevent the auger from deep sixing in case it gets disconnected from the drill. With this set up I’ll never have to worry about the drill having enough power or battery life for the day. They have this sale going til 1/22/19.
