i’ve seen the exact oposite from SS…..when my mIL passed away……they were right on top of my wifes family making them send money back.

    X2
Same when my sister passed away.
Bank accounts were frozen but SSA could automatically pull money back.

I might be wrong but in Wisconsin a kid has to be 14 and pass an ATV class to ride public trails and routes. Private property anything goes.

You are a wonderful son Randy. I hope you can get his day and nights straightened out. I would hate for you to wake up to a fire or him wandering off outside in freezing weather. You have my prayers sir.

Until the MDNR does something to address wake boat ballast water there is no need to spend money on the issue. Same in Wisconsin. JMO

I agree with you BC. I was painting a broad picture that no matter how great a teacher is that many kids, with crap parents, will not put the effort in to learn.
I also agree some teachers are in the wrong profession.

Teachers can teach BUT you can’t make kids learn IF the parent(s) are not doing their job at home.

It is frustrating to be sure but I partially agree with Dutchy. Find a safe place and pull over and let the train of vehicles go by. I feel the same way with farm equipment. I know you have the right to use the highway but hogging it is not necessarily a good look. JMO

Another thing why doesn’t the oil light come on when a vehicle is 2 qts. low?

The cars I’ve owned always had a warning light if you were a quart low.

I had a 550 BMW and they were known for burning a ton of oil. If they burned a quart in less than 1000 miles it was considered problematic. Better than that was par for the course. We ran a test on mine and it burned about 3/4 quart in 1000 miles. The dealer told me just pull it in when the light came on and they would top it up. I had 80k miles on that but traded it in when the warranty came up. Burning that much oil seemed bonkers to me.
    [/quote]

I know from experience that there are/were many Ford, GM, and Chrysler products that the warning light never came on and the dipstick was dry.

Pretty epic in that he’s taking an entire organization down with him

How do you take down something (the Jets) that was already in a dumpster and on fire?

So true. Jets were crap before, during, and probably after AR is gone.

Had covid in Sept. FW never got it thankfully. Nothing else between the 2 of us. Both of us have had every covid shot, flu, RSV, shingles, pneumonia, etc.
I’ve received some of them just because the FW is immune compromised because of her cancer treatments. Going on recommendation of the FW UW Carbon Cancer Center doctors.

    I agree with grubson.

Take a gallon jug to a shop and ask for them to fill it with used oil from a car(s). Most cars only hold 4 qts. I’ll bet most shops will need 3 cars to fill a gallon. Don’t ask me how I know. 99% of car/truck owners never check anything underthe hood? Famous last words “The oil light didn’t come on”

As far as manufacturers go, if they are so smart why did they remove transmission dipsticks?

I know it’s cold here in north dakota, the bra less lady at the holiday stations, thermometers were showing. They almost stared me right in the eyes. At that moment I realized it is indeed pretty nippy out this morning

    I change at approximately 5k.
The monitor will read between 32 and 40 percent oil life left.

For the guys that follow the manufacturers recommendation of 7500 or 10k because “they built it so that is the correct way” do you follow the maintenance schedule exactly? Just curious.

Put GY Endurance on my single axle Skeeter. One of the few that had a LR D rating. Very happy with them.

A couple Japanese guys I worked with came on my stag party tour of the strip clubs around the Twin Cities. Brought him down to sniffer’s row and had him put a $1 bill between the glass.

Sniffers row is that the same as box seats? whistling
