I purchased a 4 bow Bimini from eBay for $150, and would recommend it if you plan on using it lightly – I use it for when its raining, or when I need a break from the sun. If you plan on using a bimini on most outings and all day long, then a more expensive one might be a better buy.

You just described my 94′ mariner 15hp when I would run it with ethanol based gas. The motor ran flawless with ethanol-free, high octane fuel.

Thanks for using YouTube! I “cut the cord” last year and discovered IDO while searching online for fishing vids. Now the kids and I watch all your episodes via Chromecast on the big TV. The show is very well done, and the community/forums keeps me coming back to the website!

90% of the time i am casting for muskies from the stern, so a console is more comfortable for me. The other 10% of the time I’m fishing for walleye/panfish and would prefer a tiller then. Also, IMO, any boat under 17′ would be to cramped with a console.

Fished out of a sidestep last year. Nice shelter, big enough to stand in and plenty of space for gear. The side doors were the bee’s knees, and did make the shelter very comfortable. It is heavy, I struggled getting it in/out of my truck, but its a fair trade off for the size of shelter you get. I ended up down sizing to a thermal trekker because I like to move around a lot while fishing. I do miss the side doors though!
