Did this same BS make it to the suburban/yukon? If so what year?!
I had the same issue with an overfilled tank. I vented it to atmosphere outside (probably not the safest thing) for a little bit and then it worked fine. It is an 11 lb tank that had the fella at menards totally confused, so no real surprise it happened.
You didn’t put it back in the fridge, did you?
I just snorted lol – nice one!
Ferris was what I chose – full suspension is really nice. I went with a suspension seat base as well.
There is really only two types of music. Country and Western. Of course there are greats like Garth and George…
I bought one of the quick ship belts from these guys about 10 years ago and have worn it every day since then with everything from shorts to dress slacks and all is well. No wear, no need to look for any replacement. Expect to wear it til I don’t need a belt anymore.
Unbelievable quality compared to any store bought belt.
I have a full set of those wheels sitting in my garage. Will sell you the whole set for 400 if you come pick them up.
The box is to prevent blowing snow from packing into your generator case and getting sucked down the intake which tends to eventually end up in the oil causing all sorts of problems including hydrolocking the motor once the oil level gets high enough from water contamination. Build a box to keep it off the snow and from snow getting blown in and making everything a wet and icy mess. Having louvers or a complicated passage for intake air to get in the box is probably a good idea.
I have one that is nearly perfect after 4 years of camping. Awesome cooler, no regrets.
40-50 yards with a handgun is no joke. I challenge anyone to consistently hit a 6” plate at 50 yards with a typical concealed carry handgun under no time or physical pressure.
I competed at a high level in practical shooting disciplines and have shot well over 50k handgun rounds and can confidently say I could miss at that range even with a big heavy highly tuned race gun. Obviously hitting a person is slightly more forgiving but it is definitely challenging.
I have one that I stole from my mother. Our family enjoys it and it seems to go over well at gatherings. It involves 5 ingredients in addition to the meat.
1lb hamburger, browned and drained
1 can campbells tomato soup
1 generous squirt of ketchup
1 smallish squirt of mustard
2 or so tablespoons of brown sugar
1 or so teaspoons of worchestershire sauce.
We just go by feel on the measurements as you can tell.
Tie it down good and remember to yank on the straps a few times and say something like “that ain’t going anywhere” before setting off. Watch out for overhead stuff as you will be plenty high for some trees and such. I would not trailer one with the canvas on the frame but the frame itself should be fine. Also remember clearance to the truck for turning if it is awkwardly loaded.
I still have that blue box fan. Swing on down to illinois an I will hook you up.
I will put a vote in for Sportsman’s Cove in Webster SD. Nice little store with a surprising selection.
Why not just do a running change on the battery technology for a stouter discharge curve to deliver a solid performance for the customer? Oh wait that would take time and effort. I would much rather make a few less pennies per sale and provide something the customer can get excited about over turning off everyone that knows how bad the product is once they get over the honeymoon phase of the purchase.
Maintenance is a consideration also. Initial price favors asphalt, but you don’t need to spend 700 bucks a year for a guy to seal it every spring if you use concrete. If you don’t keep up with asphalt it will break apart and look terrible. Concrete driveways typically just do their job for a long long time with no extra expenses. No settling in the high traffic areas, etc.
I work in a facility that goes through thousands of gallons hydraulic oil in a year. None of it gets consumed and lots of it ends up on the floor. The company epoxied over a tile floor and it came out nice. Whatever they use is farrrrrr different from what you buy in a home store for DIY. It is a couple MM thick and self leveling and is remarkably durable even with industrial traffic on it. You can finish it anywhere from ‘mirror’ to ‘40 grit sand paper’ depending on the needs. The mirror finish is slippery for sure.
My buddy just had a 2019 tahoe munch the entire valve train including the cam. He was deployed for 9 months and his wife drove it with a ticking noise for about 6 of those months without saying anything about it. By the time he got home it had ground cam lobes down to nothing and contaminated the whole engine. Warranty rebuild and he sold it asap as they didn’t rebearing the bottom end and you know that thing was full of embedded hard particles. So I can confidently say they haven’t fixed the valve train problems on the newer 5.3’s. He only used mobil 1 full synthetic and changed every 5k miles. Dealership tried to get warranty denied because he didn’t have them change oil and he had to take his buckets of used oil to the ship to show he actually changes it lol. GM does a great job of acting like its a maintenance problem when its actually a design and quality problem.
What is the cost of a tank big enough to hold more than 500 gallons at your property to get back to your normal delivery service?
I would say take it to the dealer and let them diagnose what codes it is throwing. You can probably do the work once they figure out what is wrong.
Sad story B-man – hope all goes well and everyone can find some peace.
Facebook marketplace seems to work well for me for selling things. You can sell things in minutes or hours on there. Lots of outdoor folks with burner accounts out on facebook just to get to marketplace.
I wonder if a radio with lots of noise would help with this or if they would eventually wise up and head in anyway. Metal would keep them out but you would lose ventilation then.
Maybe we need to get the DNR involved and make laws that legit scrappers have to apply for tags and they can only scrap one per tag and the season is only open for a month a year. No valid tag number already registered with the state = immediate arrest at the recycling center.
