    thanks for the tip. i’m not fishing on the 11th.i just come down once a year for a weekend.i just can’t ever seem to get on any flatheads when i come there.i usally wade at day and take the boat out at night but just can’t find any flatty’s.

    wonder what a ruff ride that was?i know it was bad enough for me with the wind.i ran down to the goose island area and fought with it all day.

    i was there to and we had 5 keepers for a total of 12.40 pds.From what i saw that must of put me in around 12th place.not to bad 4 the guy with the only alumacraft out of 50+ bass boats not to acuse anyone of anything but i didn’t think much of guys loading there boats driving to the end of the parking lot and then coming back with there fish.is this what they do in bigger tournys,i don’t think so.

    i’ve used them for years 4 channels and used differant ones but never had much luck on them,except 4 one type.i don’t have anymore of it and can’t convince myself to drive 4 3 hours to get somemore .you can only get it down around rock falls,dixion area{illinois}that i no of.i used it down there and it worked and i used it here and they loved it.i sure do wish i had a tub of it. it’s called TJ’S dip bait,ever heard of it?

    i,ve got 2 of them and they work great but i would not recommend the king cat pro they don,t take the abuse that well.for 30 bucks shakespear tidewater reels work pretty slick.

    i’ve never been on pool 7 just 8 and 9.with the high water
    the no wake law is probably be in affect by this weekend.
    i’m thinking of trying 7 but i don’t no nothing about it.
    whats a good landing to lauch from and in what direction
    from there?any ideas would help.

    there over the summer but the 40 was just the tuesday before labor day weekend.i’ve cauhgt other ones but didn’t have the cam.as for the dogs they maybe little but there always ready to help out if the fish get to out of control.
