Your best bet is to get online & go to LakeFinder (DNR site) & do some research on stocking & surveys. This will give you some idea as to what to expect. Good luck

That would be the spinners I tie up, chrome 00 Colorado blade, 4 red beads, #6 Gamatzsu hook, on 6 lb fluorocarbon. tip it with a Gulp shad black/silver, leech, or crawler. I’ve caught, all the popular species from 1/2 lb crappies/sunfish to large pike. walleye & bass on this. Otherwise just a 1/4 oz. jig tipped with the same baits.

Well, our trip last Sat. Sun out of Garrison was fun, mainly trolled looking for pike, my wife ended up getting six 23″-29″ & a couple 23″ walleyes to boot, so she was happy. I got one 25″ walleye while pitching in search of smallies. Pretty windy on Sunday, went to south end, but not much happening. Coming back 24-26th with my son’s. hoping to find the smallies this time, maybe have to try the east side. Wanted to fish out of Isle Sunday, but there must have been a tournament, a lot of boats coming off & didn’t want to get in the way.

We are also heading up tonight for our first tip up for a couple days & also out of Eddy’s access, looks like weather may be cooperative. Heard good things, looking forward to it. Maybe see you in the area. Good luck!

We’re going the 8th-10th looking for action mostly pike & smallies. Always have had fun with the pike & an occasional smallie, but they are NICE! Fun to fish a lake that has trophy sized fish of those three species. Walleye fishing is what we do in the evening. It’s a great lake you will love it. There are smallies all over the lake, but you should be able to find plenty of opportunities on the Garrison side. You’ve got Pike point, Garrison Bay, Garrison reef (couple miles out), down the ways (south) you’ve got Seguchie point & Brown’s point. That’s quite a bit to work with depending on how long you’re there. It’s a very large lake & relatively shallow so the wind can give you some waves. But, there is the other sides of the lake. Good luck!!

I sure miss the “old Eddy’s” seemed like a “fisherman’s” kind of place, very nice accommodations, nothing elaborate, reasonably priced, waterfront cafĂ© was awesome. Now it seems so upscale, & modern. Seemed like the launch captains did what they could to see that everyone had a positive experience. Haven’t tried anywhere else, maybe someday.
