    right now i have an eight inch auger and it is very tough when the ice gets thick i would deffinatly recomend a 5-6 inch auger for sure…..i am getting a new one for christmas and am going with the six

    cade the fishing after you left was great my dad and i caught 15 total in about 1 hour the smallest on was about 10 inches with the biggest one being 12-1/2-13 inches. Im telling you you should of stuck around

    even if it is a shep head like luke said they are a great fight if they are big even if they wouldnt be a great fight who would gdo that anyway.
