I hear ya. At the same time they’re giving us more to cheer about than the other teams here. If worried about getting Dobbs dinged up could’ve put in another qb and kept the plays that were working going.
The only thing that would ever get the Pohlads to loosen the purse strings would be if fans stopped going to the games and watching. Granted they’d probably just sell the team then.
When winning is a bonus versus the priority they’ll lose to those prioritizing it.
No auto expert but with how stiff a vehicle kept outside is in the winter even besides the engine I can’t see it being a positive driving it right away versus warming it up
From the little research I’m seeing on line for $2-2500 seems plenty of options. John Deere feel like paying more for the name compared to the Murray, cub cadet, toro, etc..
Some showing Koehler engine some Briggs and Stratton. Either much better than the other? And by previous response it was referenced jd at Home Depot or similar being different than ones at a jd dealer? Any big difference in quality?
Thinking around 2k for price range looks to be the starting price for basic ones
Thanks. Ended up having to toss bicycles in the van so didn’t bring the fishing stuff. Talk about Minnesota weather
Been debating of going to the home opener Thursday. Has anyone heard or any thoughts if it will be postponed temperature wise?
Either have a 20 year old carhartt or Columbia jacket got back in the late 90s. Tend to not upgrade my clothing unless necessary.
Classic psychological technique/Jedi mind trick that may help with this. Instead of telling a person that they do stuff super stupid currently it’s very helpful to give an example of how someone else used to do something a dumb way and how much better it works now for them.
Maybe start bringing up poaching stories to him from the cuffs and collars of the outdoor news. Could add in what a lowlife dirtbag that guy must be etc for effect. Passive agressive but we are in Minnesota.
In the vehicle industry and haven’t heard any more complaints on them then any others. The cargo van is an elusive vehicle.
Had the hankook ats on the truck before we suv. Nothing but positives
Don’t give a crap about what people think. I personally feel being very passionate about something as long as it’s not a destructive habit is the key to happiness in life. My interest have varied from sports at a younger age, to hunting and fishing after high school, putting everything into a career, to running, coaching the kids, and now skiing. Whenever someone says your nuts I take it as a compliment. The guy who is nuts about fishing, hunting, skiing, lifting, scrabble, etc… is probably enjoying themselves more than the guy that does it every now and then.
For sleep a guy will have plenty of time to rest when they are dead.
Very frustrating. I chose to work through college to limit my debt versus athletics. Wouldn’t have been a star athlete by any means. When I had a couple hundred dollars to my name and seeing the practice schedules it was either take out loans (didn’t want debt. Grew up very debt adverse) or don’t play and work to pay for school and survive. Guess I should’ve taken out loans had I had the crystal ball. At least now I can pay for other peoples loans.
I always noticed my friends that had very odd or unproductive majors had parents paying their tuition. I can only imagine what majors people will pick if they don’t have to pay. With any slippery slope how is free college for all not the next thing coming???
Thought they did decent last year. Especially with the start running back going down in the first game. Did seem dumb from a coaching standpoint to have one guy run the ball than much and not assume he’s get injured.
Not a very tough guy opinion, but I say looks at money and finances like a game and be on a team with your wife to do as well as you can in the game.
Same here with kick the can and hide and seek.
Also in becker football was a way of life a lot of touch football games in yards.
Fyi Ernie’s did not charge which I actually felt guilty not paying to use a nice plowed road without paying. Not much for a bite but accomplished a place to stay with dogs and not needing a hotel. Was a little interesting with them having a party event and pulling a fishhouse between buildings with a coupon hundred people partying walking around. Luckily I didn’t graze anyone.
Not familiar with fishing there but we skied there for the first time this winter. Awesome place!
In this market and a typical market buy a vehicle well and sell it before it’s out of warranty while it’s still worth good money
Have heard not to charge them when wet. Father in laws former coworker had a house fire and I’m not certain but believe a drill battery was thought to be the cause.
Seems there is a time and place where evs make sense. The issue is they are being marketed as a consumer product and pitched as ice vehicles will be a thing of the past. If you talk with anyone that works in the power industry either it’s not possible or the capabilities need to improve unrealistically to provide enough power on the grid. Weather can be an issue like last week with the traffic jam, but doomsday wise also had me thinking if the majority of citizens drove evs and another country knocked out the power whether through hacking, attack, etc then what? Granted gas pumps need to be on also but feel like gas on hand could be quicker than a bunch of evs stranded everywhere.
Only question is who do they get now. Preferably someone who is willing to pass the ball more
Fishing/spearing was slow last two days shows 17 below right now saying El Paso for today.
Have an ion and seems sealed well but the battery plastic is very thin I’d imagine the issue on yours probably isn’t sealing but probably cracked from impact
About 8” in Princeton. With no parking at the landing now there’s a handful of trucks all parked on the edge of the ice. Slow fish wise one here one there last day or two.
