Just spent 3 nights on lost Bay, the weather was highly unstable and didn’t get to fish all that much, found some eater walleyes in 24ft on Lindy rigs before the cold front. Then after the cold front we found large crappies and eater walleyes in a shallow Bay with wind blowing in 6-11ft spinner rigs. Thank goodness for auto bilge pumps as we had on and off downpours. Good luck
Thanks guys, all good info. My favorite way to fish is either spinners or rigging. I’ll let you know how the kids do as I let them catch most everything.
The family is staying on namakan island starting July 14th, in the past I haven’t been able put many walleyes in the boat in voyager’s. What programs work best for you guys, and depths? Anyone that chimes in, thanks in advance
To the gentleman that was flying the stars and strips all night last weekend on or near silver flat… thank you! When nature call early in the morning I was able to admire her in the most beautiful moonlight, it made the experience in -28 and a tshirt enjoyable. No disrespect to the other side of thinking it happened before this thread and was amazing
Question… Let’s say I’m a Native and buy a gas station in onamia would I be subjected to the same local and state operational taxes as a non Native who owns a similar store?
The answer to the original question… travel off road was fair to good on the gravel bars. Unfortunately the fishing wasn’t as good. To Andy cox… travel over a current filled 2ft deep reef has different ice depth than mid lake basin
Thanks those whom responded, I’m well versed on the laws and all the googans out there. I just haven’t been to the cabin since the water temp rose so much and have people coming up. I’ll be fishing 730 to 945pm
