ya birddog they are expensive but the one i saw looked real flimsy and cheaply made i would rather spend the few extra bucks on a nice one vs a cheap one once your past the $100 mark another 40 bucks is nothing
thanks for the quick replys guys
ya they are i was thinking like power and weight wise i think the 8s are a bit heavier than the 7s and you cant throw them around that much i havent found the room to really get on even with that 7 im a 250lbs 17 year old and i dont have a problem with handling i was just wondering if it is really that big of a deal to keep going up if you know what i mean
P.S> it seems to me im starting to bash them but really what im getting at is dad is looking at another wheeler and is looking at either an 8 or a 400 and we are kinda torn we both feel the same on the subject just getting outsiders views
another thing riverratt we went with the carb 700 and she is pretty cold blooded and wish now we went with the efi we have heard alot of great things about the efi
i would be game for it

This is the best thing I’ve read in a long time.
come to think about it you really do hear a lot of people (not pointing fingers) bragging about them “almost” that almost was me that could have been me in the news on the street
my prayers are with all though, the ones that saw it, the ones that heard it, heard of it, and especially the ones on it
i have almost bought one last year but didnt in fear of someone stealing it like others have said,
other than that i think this is very interesting to see this discussion
i still do not know if it would be worth it or not

to go along with that i was on a mission trip with my church and we went to queens new york, one of the 5 days out there we were working at the salvation army serving food i was the runner and when they ran out of food i ran up stairs and got more on the way back i saw a guy sitting in the corner he was homeless but helped out so he could get a little extra food from time to time, he was taking a break reading the paper in the corner we kept the carts.
they always tell us youth to just stop and say hi to some people it will make there whole day because most of the time nobody will talk to them for days. just acknowledge there there.
so i though about it and i did i stoped for a moment and said hey hows it going my name is colten, he looked up puzzled and then said nice to meet you my name is randy, then continued to say how it was a rough morning but now the day is starting to shape up, i said well thats good to hear then the rest of my crew started yelling at me to get more food they were running out. so i told randy hope you day continues to get better and have a good one got to go. as i get across the room i hear “hey colten” i turn and look and its randy waving and he said “thank you very much” and then went on reading his paper and i went on my way.
moral of the story…
