It would be for the sides. Washers sound better to me than pvc

I’m hoping I’ll find a reel that pairs up nicely. Def would rather not use butt weights if I didn’t have to, but does anyone know if the FUJI EWBC butt caps just slid on or do they screw into the handle?

The rods are a 6’6 MLF and a 6’8 MXF, both LTW. I’ve got a few reels in mind to try out. I like the idea of getting a light reel that feels good, then putting weights on the butt. I will def post results of what I decide to go with. Thanks for the help guys

I originally got the 6’3 mxf avid actually but returned it for the legend tourney. I thought the medium was a little stiff. Planned on getting another avid until I picked up the legend. Night and day difference for only $50 more. I will still be picking up a few avids though. I REALLY wish I could’ve got the MLXF but that wasn’t an option. I did notice that st croix makes cabelas exclusive models with a variety of power and actions. Just wonder if they are any different in quality or anything

Mainly shallow and medium. I was thinking a 7 ft Medium with a moderate action for cranks
