    Got the 2016 Bass season started in Southern Illinois. Fished Lake Newton for two days last weekend. This was my biggest. Mamma went 20″ 5-4oz. got her on a 1/2oz red eye shad.

    Thanks Tom!! I have looked up all the parts and yes it’s around $120. Was it easy to fix? Was there any special tools needed? Going to order the parts and take a stab at it. I’m hoping this helps me because I am not shelling out $800 that’s for sure. Thanks again.

    Had the motor checked by my mechanic. The cylinder section of the trim isn’t working properly. They wanted big money to take it apart and find the problem with in. He also wanted to just replace the whole cylinder unit costing me close to $1k with parts and labor. Not my ideal situation for sure! Anyone have any suggestions on were to find aftermarket or used parts for the trim section I’m all ears. Thanks for your help!

    Looks like I will be replacing the remote switch first and see were that gets me. I’ll try to keep you posted. Thanks for all your helpful insight!!!

    I have had the same problem finding parts. Unless you can find them on ebay try sending a message on Lunds Facebook page. They are really good at getting back to you.

    I too have both reels and after spending a week with both reels I was happier with my smokes. The EVA handles on the EXO got to me after a long while of use. Don’t get me wrong I loved the smoothness and solid feel of the EXO, but I find myself going to my smokes more often. My personal favorites are the last Energy PT style (silver with multi-color trim). I tend to pair my Smokes and EXOs on a heavier rod (Superlite PTs) to balance it out better for me. And use the Energy’s on my Smoke rods. I am not a total fan of the light as a feather feel. Just my opinion.
