Sadly they may have moved on to that great emoji land in the sky!
He tried Andy but my mom told me never accept anything from strange men!
Most years I get the best present a man could hope for. The privilege of sitting down to a home cooked meal with all his children and grandchildren. As the song says, That’s Christmas to me.
All are welcome, Denny can give you directions. Apparently he drives by my place on many occasions!
Apple bars. Apples from my trees, flour from my wheat and a 150 year old crust recipe from Norway.
Play around with the air pressure in the tires. Less pressure will give you more traction. Have seen wheel weights made from concrete. If you had a pattern of the inside of wheel I’d cut you some weights out of 2 inch steel plate I have around here.
Sounds like a good first trip to me Andy!
Came down yesterday and wind kept me off the lake. Managed 3 keepers in the river pulling cranks in 5-9 feet. Sure seems to be a bunch of 14 7/8” <strong class=”ido-tag-strong”>walleyes in the system right now.
Try flipping them over, sometimes they are like me….fatter on one side!
Bring waders or shorts if you ae putting in at Ike’s in Wabasha. Use the public landing at the Marina next door, then park at Ike’s. I’ll smile and wave when you go by!
Second green can South of the lake is partially under water. At times it goes under completely. Straight out from Reeds Landing
When I use to restore hit-n-miss engines dating back to the early 1800’s and the piston was seized.
Ah….have to say Sheldon, you are doing good for your age.
I wanted to try the Champagne shot’s but alas, I was on the clock.
It seems Captian Jack is always a tad on the tipsy side.

FYI Water temp this afternoon was 56°F.And with that all the eggs drop and the fish start to hunt. Tempting to try getting out this week. Just wish Rochester was an inch closer
It is on a smaller map. I have two hours to Red Wing but worth every minute. Saturday was a fantastic day to be out.
Here are the final results. Thanks to the guys fishing for braving the weather and the tough bite. A big thank you to all the club members and kids that came to help with the nuts and bolts of this event. A special thanks to club president Caleb B. for his dedication and countless hours he puts in to make this event and all club events successful. Not many realize the amount of work that is required to make these tournaments run as smooth as possible.
Giving this a bump as it’s coming up this weekend. We appreciate all entries and thanks to those of you that bought raffle tickets. Walleye Searchers is dedicated to helping the community and keeping kids interested in fishing. Last month we gave out $5,000 to area kids fishing teams. We also host a Take A Vet Fishing day. We have volunteer boaters that are paired with vets for a great day on Pool 4. Your donations help with this and more. You may even be interested in joining the club. Drop me a note.
Thanks again to all.
The Scheels version works well for my application. Also have the Limit Creek which is my go to lead rod. Reasonable in price and it’s a local business.
We switched our club tournament launch site from Bay Point to Colvill for Saturday. Less ice and more parking, and on the plus side if your heading to the dam you can wave at BK when you go by.
I only cast to the wing dams. Troll cranks to cover a lot of water.

It is better to either break even if you can or pay in as little as possible. That way you get to use your money all year instead of waiting for the government to reimburse you interest free. This is true. Being self employed I got in the habit of overpaying each quarter. I just didn’t want to have to pay them a big amount at tax time like I did one year. I also liked getting money back each year ( Kind of like a forced savings account )
Self employed as well and likewise make sure to pay more then need each quarter but in stead of taking a refund have it applied to next years quarterly payments.
Bite was good this past weekend at the foot. Cranks was hot action on Monday.
There is a red can below the surface at the Chippewa today. All thats above the water is the lift ring.
We have our first row of carrots in as they don’t mind cool weather at all. Will plant another row in three weeks or so. I also have stopped planting spuds. I could go through them before work and pinch 100 or more Colorado Potato Beetles and by evening there would be 40 more.

But no ID at all to vote. Pure Stupid! You can try 3 times 3rdtry but all you’ll get the sound of silence.
People talking without speaking.
People hearing without listening.
Writing songs that never will be shared.
No one dares.
Break the sound…..of silence.
Not really lunch but it was lunch time. Double smoked ham, cheesy spuds, canned garden green beans.
Oreo fluff and banana waffer pudding. Also tried something new, bacon wrapped kielbasa seasoned with rub then glazed with a reduced mix of brown sugar and Sharon’s recipe for Billy’s Carmel Apple Pie. Thanks Sharon, they blew everyone away.
Base depth is crucial to both products as is thickness. Concrete is more forgiving. When I’m spending money on either one do it right, do it once.
If your looking for winter snow melt use a darker color in the concrete.
My boss is exactly the same age as me…..to the minute.
My boss is exactly the same age as I am also. So is all the help.
I bought a rust free box that came from Arizona. The company was from Mo. He told it was rust free and it was perfect. Cost was two grand and I undercoated myself. Super easy with it up side down in my shop. If you want the number PM me.
