I hunt state land almost exclusively usually a couple times a week. I would recommend a good set of climbing sticks and a hang on. This will give you the most options for places to sit. I like the lone wolf stuff personally. If you will be packing in any distance I would get the lightest sticks and stand you can afford, there is more difference in weight in the climbing sticks than the stands on the market for the money. I started with the lone wolf sticks and a used aluminum stand from a garage sale to keep the weight down. Good luck
I was hunting in central minnesota last night, just south of st.cloud. only seen does and fawns
My view for tonight. Sitting in a creek bottom with a corn field about 100 behind me. Seen 9 from the stand Monday night
You shouldn’t have any problems. I am currently running a hds5 and 522 side by side. both have internal antennas and work just fine.

You could try the mills fleet farm in alexandria I know the one in st cloud caries some props and parts might be worth a shot. hopefully someone from the area will chime in
Does the clunk occur as you let off of the gas and prior to cornering or does it occur as you begin to corner? Since you stated that the clunk happens when you are slowing for a corner and that it doesn’t occur when you accelerate from a stop sign I would suspect a wheel end or suspension issue if the clunk occurs when you begin to corner.
also is the suburban 2wd or 4wd?
Im currently driving a 1999 xlt 4×4 ranger with 3.0 v6 and auto trans with 248000 miles bought it with 80000. Other than basic maintenance and an alternator and battery i have not had any big repairs. I have been waiting for it to die but it just seems to keep going. If it is in good shape and the price is right i would go for it.
This truck does just about everything i need even pulled 18mpg last weekend pulling my boat to winnie. averages 18-20mpg
I find it hard to believe that a gasoline leak would result in corrosion of the aluminum hull. Most of the Tankers that transport gasoline are aluminum tanks without any special coatings and are similar aluminum alloys to what is used in the marine industry.
Take a look at the beneli nova i have shot one for several years for ducks. never had a problem with it, and its comparably priced to the remongton 870.
I have found that having the oil good and hot is important, I shoot for around 375 deg. I slice the potatoes about 3/16″ thick, shake in chef roberts original and fry.
Yes that is the proper procedure, and is what I have done in the past. I like to start with the longest wires first and work my way to the shortest wire matching the new wires to the old for length.
It is fairly common for spark plug wires to not be labeled with cylinder numbers. A search of the internet with the engine specifics and yaer should yeild a firing order diagram to ensure that you have the wiring correct, may even be on the coil pack or radiator support.
The last 2 sets i bought from gander mountain off the clearance rack. They can be hard to find. The 4″ blades are the same blade as the 4″ hand auger blades, hope this helps. I’ve also seen them at bait shops that sell sharpened blades.
I don’t have any current first hand info to offer, but I will offer this: try contacting rex at nancys bait off of cty 2 by cedar lake. when i moved to the area last fall he was very helpful in showing me some good places to start looking for fish on the area lakes.
overlay data was set to show water temp. transducer tag reads hst wsbl.
I did a restart to factory defaults on the recomendation of a coworker and water temp now shows when testing in the garage. I asume that all is fine now just have to get the boat in the water to know for sure.
you can get one pound line in trilene micro ice, most shops dont stock it but it is available. I had the local bait shop order me some through csi in sauk rapids.
fireline also offers 1 pound, i have a rod spooled up with it now, it can be a pain to tie, but works well for the super small stuff
I had a very similar situation earlier this year on a small single basin lake. we were catching a few walleyes a night just off the weed line 3 fish was a decent night, but they were bigger 23-26 inches. marking a bunch of fish in between, putting a camera down showed they were perch.
Matt not sure if you remember me, I helped you guys with the fsae car at state last year. Scott
Any more specifics on type of structure you fished, ive never fished leech and havent done much perch fishin in the past any guidance as to what type of structure/ spots too look for on leech would be greatly appreciated.
