I have 2 hds8 gen 1 everyonce inawhile i have that problem and all i do is shut it off and turn it on… problem taken care of for the day… for me there is no rhyme or reason for the problem and haven’t gone any farther than checking the basics and found nothing wrong…..
good luck

July 22, 2011 at 12:29 am #982803I know of a couple differant guys who bought gravely 60″ zero turns. one of my friends bought one last year and the other friend bought one this year… cut down there lawn mowing time about half… the last friend had a 40″ zero turn before this one…. i would say you could be getting more fishing time
as far i know it has been basically trouble freeMarch 6, 2011 at 10:06 pm #944563I wouldn’t buy the insight map I have hd8 without the map and use lakemaster maps.My opinion the lakemaster maps are better than the insight… have fun with your hd8, i haven’t had any problems with mine love em

July 23, 2010 at 2:07 am #888674I’m almost positive it won’t work in your x15 but i’m not sure about your other units but it does work great in the hds…..i think it will work in the LCX’s according to the reps from lakemaster at the minn. sport show this spring.

steveApril 24, 2010 at 12:38 am #866352John You can use the power cable from your 27 but cut the power for your the network. I’m not sure about the lms520 power cord. if it hooks up to your 27 it will work on the hd5. i like my hd8 they’re ablast to watch with the side and stucture scan
SteveJanuary 17, 2010 at 6:51 pm #832977It was differant than the LCXS but it didn’t take to long to get used to the buttons. What I’ve done is have an extra power cable and a jump battery pack sit in the chair and play with it while having a few. I do like all the differant things that can be done with the sonar.

January 16, 2010 at 1:49 am #832714I’ve had lowrance units since the lms350 days. I have had very few problems with all the units i’ve had and when i did didn’t have any problems with the customer service. I like the gps as it’s user friendly ( at least to me } and the lake mastermaps are awsome on the lowrance units. I have lcx 110, lcx 37 and just got the hds 8. soon hope to get my LSS-1 transducer for the side scan and down imaging.

December 12, 2009 at 1:16 am #822762My car sits outside and i let it warm up about 20 min before i leave work because i have a short drive ” its about 6 miles” plus less of a chance of the windows fogging up when driving.
SteveDecember 8, 2009 at 1:20 am #821177you can try foster errands park in roch it supposedly has northern and trout. if you don’t want to fish the river you can go up to farbauilt or waterville area. there’s a bunch of lakes to try in that area
shughesAugust 13, 2009 at 1:50 am #797117when you can get it figured out let the rest of us know just sounds like a big cluster f— to me just my 2 cents
s hughesAugust 1, 2009 at 2:49 am #794723nitro i am assumming you have disc brakes on your trailer. so if all your lights are working the possible problem you would have is the brake solenoid which shuts off the brake fluid going to the brakes because if that isn’t working you won’t be able to back up ..to check the problem out you’ll need a test light which will help considerably..good luck
July 2, 2009 at 2:08 am #787976if i had the money i would bet 100 dollars its a bad u-joint when they squeak they’re tight and dry so you won’t get any play out of it. as far as bearing in my expirance bearings don’t squeak they growl. if you pay attetion check to see if you have a little vibration on acceleration and goes away when you let off. just my 2 cents worth
June 15, 2009 at 11:16 am #784098ed’s bait shop in devils lake has good leeches decent price. at least last year they did. good luck up there i’m heading up the 24th
steveJune 14, 2009 at 6:11 am #783912with the hds you have to run a seperate power supply for the networking. hope it helps a little
