I should have been more specific. No it does not have to be a good trout stream. I’ll fish for anything where I can get by toting light tackle and lures up and down the bank.

I too have used snaps alot for early season crappie fishing with jigs and snelled hooks. Never used them much for Walleye and bass fishing because I’d always been told not to for cranks and spinners, etc. Would love to because when I’m fishing with the wife and kids I’m generally tying for 4. If someone here tells me that any of these other lures will work fine with snaps I’m willing to give it a try.
