Awesome! Where do you get perch like that??

I’ve always been pretty lucky on Linwood. It’s one off my go-to lakes actually. Last week, ice fishing, I got a nice 30″ northern. In the fall I caught a nice dinner sized walleye too.

Interesting. I now live in Saint Francis and the Rum (river) is only a stones throw away. I’d like more info on where and how to catch some walleye.

I do believe that military personnel and veterans get a free annual state park pass. I’m going go check out ice fishing on Mille Lacs for the first time.

Caught a 30 inch northern off Viking Blvd. Was originally fishing the bottom in about 18′ of water, then tried reeling up about 3-4′ and that’s where it was. Probably suspended.

Looks fun! It’s better than getting skunked! But if that’s an 8 inch hole, those fish didn’t even touch both sides of it. I do know a spot where there are beastly bluegills and perch.
