    the gear ratio on the gear box is 3.6 to 1. it slows down the auger but add double the torque so you can run 8 or 10 inch augers on it. if running a 10 inch from a power auger you will need the clam/kdrill adapter as this allows an auger from a gas auger to be used. if running an 8 inch just make sure it is an 8 inch hand auger or you would need the adapter too.

    I mainly put the carrier in the front but in these pics I had it on the back because I had my plow on at the time.

    I like the clam lock system idea. Looking for ideas on attaching bins or buckets.

    Here is the rest of the pictures of how I set my wheeler up. I got the bucket holders from hornet outdoors. Cabela’s sells them or you can order right from the hornet outdoors site. I mounted three of them to a cargo carrier that I modified the bracket on. I can put the carrier on the front or back of the machine depending how I want to set it up.

    I added 2 4 place rod holders. one on each side and added a spot for a ruler on top and two interchangeable pucks on the front two sides so I can run different things on them.
