Stayed at Pasha with the previous owner. Stayed at Bush Lake across the road after Chad. Lucy Lake is spectacular. It is stocked every few years and if you hit it after stocking its unreal. Troll with anything you would troll walleye with. Those Splake travel the water column like nothing you’ve ever seen. My sons personal best is our groups largest at 28″+. Most are 16 to 24. Lucy Lake is almost across the road from O’Sullivans Rainbow west of Nakina. The water is an unreal tropical blue color. Stay where you want but go to Lucy for Splake. Go there!

We had no problem finding Jumbo Leaches a few weeks ago. Had luck pulling Gulp Killer Crawlers and Fry on slow death hooks. Give it a try.

We got ours at Ed’s Bait and at the Grahams Island State Park bait shop. Enough bait shops to keep them honest and the little extra you might pay is more then made up in current bite information. Anywhere we bought bait they pointed us to active fish.

    Enjoy your trip.

Thanks for the replies. Searched here and other sites. Seems like most folks place towels or sheets between them and roll them up. Think I’ll steal one of our older sheets for the cause.

chappy if you can take a small tin boat or a canoe go check out Mikes Lake. Ask for directions at any bait shop. Move around casting Rapala’s. Nice Walleye in there.

Nice Pike, gotta get me sum! The boat landing for Black Tiger Bay is in Dead Cow Bay. From there instead of going through Black Tiger toward the main lake stay left into a large shallow bay. That whole left shore was pikey last August.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. We are excited by the forecast of warmer air and wind warming up that water quickly. Wish your group the best of luck on the rest of your trip. Have you tried the dead cow bay area yet? with the high wind forecast that may be a good bay to try.

    Thanks
    Dave
