Any results available from the early entry boat no., draw? I believe this was supposed to be done Saturday.

Thanks Eric for the reply. It is a Hambys guard, which is epoxied on. I have did a little checking around and it will cost about 1000.00 give or take a couple hundred to have the old one removed, preped for a new one, and the new one installed. I would consider not doing anything, but I am missing part of the old one, and there are areas now that are perfect for invasive species to catch on and hide!

Bester Bros. moving company located in So. St. Paul will do an excellant job. (My son works for the company so I may be a bit prejudice.)

Ric and I will be back next season regardless of the format. We would be launching out of Prescott though, if that is an option. I strongly believe that You would pick up at least 3-6 more boats a night if launching out of Prescott ends up being an option. Looking forward to next season!

The Schommers also send out a big thanks to Jesse for a job well done, and also to BK for the photos. and also to those who donated the prizes. The fishing was slow for us today unlike a couple days of fun fishing during the week. Today when We did get bit though, they were very nice fish. During the week most of our fish were coming on jigs and 5 in Kalin Tails. Today our good fish came on hair jigs purchased from Hightiedjigsandrigs {Kent Anderson} Orange and black, orange and green being the best. All fish coming off of wing dams! Thanks again Jesse!!

I also will be there again tonite with a differant partner. {Son no., 2} We will be fishing the same method though, pulling core! Looking forward to a fun, cool, evening. I also would encourage anyone thinking of trying out this league to come on down. It really is a great time with a great bunch of guys. Thanks again Jesse and Tony for a great job done so far on starting up this league, and a great job running it!!

I think the post should read that the fish was caught yesteryear instead of yesterday!! I recognize the buildings in the background. One of them being the Pilot House Bar {the white building right of fish.} There seems to be a deck missing that has been in place on that bar for several years!!

The weather has did damage to some ice! A guy went through the ice out in front of Prescott wed afternoon. It was an area where We had fished earlier in the day. He was able to pop himself back out, but HE was in up to His shoulders.

Just checked out the launch. Water is half way up the trailer parking lot. I don’t believe the launch ever closes, but it would take a pair of chest waders or 2 people to launch a boat with the water as high as it is. The dock is pulled up to the edge of the water and would be of no use for landing (too shallow). You coulkd possibly pick a partner up at the end of it.
