It may be a little bigger than your looking for but check ou. Thorne Bros. finess and sweet pea rods. The sweet pea is a 16″ glass. Like all Thorne rode they’re custom made right here in Minnesota

Is it possible? Yes. But you have to have a special template to get the exact pitch right.

It sounds like a pitch problem. You could either bring the shaft into D-Rock or Strikemater in Big Lake and they could adjust the pitch for you or simply try lifting up on the auger when you’re at the bottom of the hole.

If the majority of your fishing is done in the shallows, I would recomend the vexilar then. Take a step up and get either the 12, 18, or 20 with the low power mode for fishing in weeds. This really helps being able to “see” through the weeds to the fish. If you get a vex too, make sure you get either the dual beam ducer or the 20 degree. This will make fishing the the shallow stuff a lot easier.

I’ve heard of a few reports from guys that use the birds and they say it’s an ok unit. The target seperation is alright, but he commented on how the screen doesn’t seem very sharp. It may be the 6 color sequence but they tend to blend…

I think we should vote a comedian for president. Our system has been coorupt. Its hard to get someone in there that doesn’t think the same as everyone else.

SM does have awesome customer service. The metal rod that connects the throttle to the motor broke on ours and all we had to do was bring it in and they gave us the part for free. Also bought an extension while we were there and gave us a discount on that. Great people.

I think the east side has been froze over since friday or thursday. Not so sure about the west side. Good luck if you go out and stay safe.

Take a look at this weather site. It’s for aviation pilots so I figure its pretty acurate and I’ve found it to be in my experience. Weather Forecasts . Also, the local weather stations had the wind out of the west at 5-10 mph.

Who said you can’t catch eel pouts during the summer. Great pics and looks like you had an easy way to pass the time.

Pretty sure they said it’ll go back down to two. Might open back up depending on the quota.

Deep Tail Dancers for the summer on Mille Lacs. Size 11. Perch, purple clown, any color works. HJ is another good choice.

Bring on the crappies. They need to open the slot up to get people back there again.

I read in outdoor news there was an estimated 41,000 lbs of kill from tourneys. Thats a lot of fish.
