Launched at the Bluffs yesterday. Went out to test new electronics and trolling motor. Beautiful couple hours on the water. Few folks out cruising around. Seen a couple pontoons and few tuna boats. Water around 50.
They need to make that stupid lake in front of the beach no wake and add more docks along the dike wall there.
I like the “ski bay” just the way it is. It’s a nice short cut to open the throttle up if you are coming from Hudson heading North of the swing bridge.
Reminds of a coworker I dealt with for his 24 years existence at my company. His nickname is “Fingers”. He LOVES to touch everything except his own project tasks.
I was out last Sunday. They pulled the smaller dock up on the East side so you don’t have to walk in water. The larger dock ramp on the West was under water.
The slow ride to the “spot” was worth it. Walleye are biting. The 13-14 inch class is really nuts. Caught 20+ shorties between 2 of us.
If you have access. I highly recommend Banshee. Just finished Under the Banner of Heaven on Hulu. Took me a while to get through the first few episodes. Got a little creeped out.
