Just to make sure: they can share one GPS puck right?

Thanks guys. I know how to change WP names. My question is on setting the default waypoint name. Going thru the manual again I don’t see such option.

Thanks Eric. Yes, I’m still burning last fall’s fuel mixed with the new. Will try to get it closer to empty before I refill.

Thanks Eric. Yes, it has happened the last 3 times I was out and it was hot… Low 80’s in March! I did use the primer bulb, but even after that it took a while to start, and sounded terrible when it did. I never heard of vapor locking. Is there anything else I can do?

I’m still trying to figure this out. Maybe someone here knows how the fuel lines are connected in 2008 wx1880. It looks like the kicker line goes direct to one of the tanks. Is it the front or back fuel tank? The main motor is connected to both tanks with a switch to choose front, rear or dual fuel tanks. Is it possible for the kicker to create negative pressure in one or both of the tanks and suck the fuel out of the main motor? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I will try to find some eyecon trolling rods to take a look at. Would like to check the Limit Creek too, but I’m not sure if I can find them in the Chicago area. Thanks.

Thanks guys! I took the easy way out. I stopped at a trailer repair shop today and they had the 5 pole plugs in stock. It cost me $49 and it took them 15 minutes to install. (it would take at least 3 hours if I did it

I don’t know Dale, it doesn’t look like there’s enough room on that section of the hull.

    On wx1880:
    rear: 30″x15″x 12″deep
    front: 18″x12″x 12″ deep
    bait: 12″x12″x 12″ deep

Thanks Dean, I’m close to Chicago so kind of far from you. But I want to go there for some winter open water fishing, hopefuly this winter…

Thanks Mike. That’s what I was thinking also. I guess will have to do without the kicker for the rest of this year. Glad to hear I don’t need the mounting plate.

My friend just picked up WX1900 recently and he told me that the rod storage is to short for seven foot rods by couple inches. Is that possible? And if yes, how does it compare to storages in 1880 or 1850?

Thanks guys. Also wondering – that open shelf/compartment on the passenger side – what do you use that for?

Thanks Eric, I will probably have more questions when I get closer to doing it.

Thanks Roger. I will try to do what you suggested. I did restore defaults before the upgrade but I didn’t know you should do it after the upgrade as well.

I haven’t tried Trigger X yet but I did test Power Bait vs. Gulp Alive minnows. Two rod jigging, same line, same jigs, same movement – Power Minnows outfished Gulp Alive at least 4 to 1. They were almost identical in color and size.

Thanks Jason. Nice read on the I-Pilot – I have a Maxum though so no Auto Pilot for me. Question: I noticed in the article you used 1 oz weights – why no jigs for the droppers?

Thanks everyone. My trim gauge dosn’t work so I’ll try to get it fixed this week. Then on the weekend I will try to work the trim to see if I can get it right. I will report back after that.

Yes I am but it’s possible that I’m not doing it right. This is my first boat so I’m just learning.

Thanks. I don’t think it’s a problem either. My friend looked at it today and said it should be fine. He also uses the same rods.

No, it doesn’t feel loose. When I grab the guide in my fingers and move it slightly it makes noise – the other guides don’t. I noticed the same thing on some older rods but never on a new one so was just wondering if it was normal.

Thanks everyone. After reading I think the Power Drive with AP could be a better option for what I need. Thanks again!

Thanks. I bought a nice selection of BFN H2O jigs and was wondering how you would rate them for fishing with fatheads? I’ve already heard they work great with plastics but I’m not finding much about using them with just minnows. Any thoughts on that?
