    Thanks Mike,

If you change your mind let me know. I have a friend who said he might be able to go to (bass camp) after I told him I posted this. Give me a text at 612-554-1517 if anything changes. Thanks again.

All in all we took it in stride and were somewhat prepared for the mishaps. We were sitting on the boat when i said i wished i had my rattle wheels but we should have been on LOTW not mille lacs. We kept a positive attitude the hole time and made the best out of each situations. So i’m free next weekend if anybody wants to go fishing.

I’m glad you feel better but i will not buy another Lowrance again. I don’t have alot of money and had to save and sell to buy my first lcx 28c.after a year and a half it started to shut off on its own and it had a one year warranty. So when i sent it in they told me they did a bench test and it was internal and i would be eligible for an upgrade because they don’t make parts for that model anymore.so now I am happy because i get a hds7 but then realized it’s going to cost me another $500 toget this unit.(so my options were not to have a unit on my boat that i spent a $1000 on already or spend another $500 just to get a working unit )and this brand new unit only comes with a 60 day warranty because thats what i would have got if they repaired my unit.so when this one goes bad i screwed again because this brand new unit won’t be under warranty and i’m right back to square one.

It was a great night.I got on the lake about 1:30 and fished a few spots. At 3:00 I caught my first eye that was 29in. after a slow rest of the day i set up for the night bite. When the sun went down so did my bobber.from 7:00 to 10:00 I caught 16 and headed home with my limit of 14/15in. fish.”did any one else see that shooting star.it lit up the lake”

thanks james for that info. I use the orignal sock and it’s worked well for me,but after reading this and watching your video I will be buying two of the wave tammers. I will keep track of my speeds with the two setup’s and get back to you.

I agree 100%, I have no problem keeping fish under 18 and letting the bigger fish go to catch another day. two years ago i had more pic’s of 26 to 29 inch fish then i new what to do with.it make’s my trip’s even better when you catch the big one’s.

I got about 1:30 and tried fishing around the bait fish, but the bite was slow. we caught a few sheephead and stripped bass before calling it a night.A guy loaded up behind me and said he caught one when he got out about 3:00 and then just before dark within :20 he caught the rest of his limit.I also was out in dec. and landed a 40-50lbs. flathead on 6 lbs test line and had a 5 lbs cat on the other line i let my buddy reel that one in.
