I prefer the medium light. St croix has a firmer medium light than most brands. I actually do almost all my fishing with a Premier ML. A 6’ for panfish and walleye and a 6.6’ for walleye and bass. Even though they are both ML, the 6.6 has much more backbone. I can cast farther too with a ML.
