New stainless prop got it’s first use, I gained about 2 m/ph top end, felt like the boat got to plane quickly, and controlled better at high speeds. Could be placebo effect, who knows.

My truck always runs just a little bit better after an oil change smash

I have the 100’ on a hose reel for the past 3 years. Hose reel is out of the sun, but I haven’t had any issues.

Being on a reel does it get “compressed” in the reel when reeled up? Some hoses do and the diameter is reduced so you don’t get full flow if you don’t unreel the whole hose. In the market due to this issue.

Sorry I don’t think it covers SD just MN and some of Canada

I believe he was asking if the chip you have is on a full size SD card or a micro SD card, not South Dakota. He is looking for something on a micro SD card.

I am not a trust attorney but am allowed to play one on IDO…

With that said we set ours up when we bought a second property out of state. We were told that having our properties in the trust avoided probate in the second state. Take that for what it worth, but if you own property in multiple states you might consider a trust.

If you’d like some current blues give a listen to Christone “Kingfish” Ingram.

I like Scheels because they actually put money back into the community. Most “box” stores just take our money and distribute it in investors.

Similarly I don’t like to buy groceries at Hy-Vee because of their comparative high prices, but do go there occasionally because they put a lot of money back into the community (especially youth sports and I have no skin in that game being in my sunset years).

Thanks for all the replies. I was hoping there was a home use one that completely disassembled for easier cleaning. The blade comes off ours but not the carriage or any other parts (short of taking out numerous screws).

Guess I’ll live with what we have. We use it sporadically and when we have multiple pieces to slice.

Along the same line…best all Christmas radio stations? I tend to like the traditional versions and get tired of the “All I want for Christmas type” songs which seem to get played over and over…for me they miss the point.

Best one I’ve found is Traditional Holidays on Sirius XM but my subscription is about to run out.

I haven’t had any problems signing on but the site itself has gone comatose just navigating around. First I thought it was my ISP, then my computer and finally realized it was this site. Closed browser and started again to “fix”. When leaving site normally log off.
Anyway, no big deal but I come to this site less and less because of it…that old keep trying same way and expecting different results principle.

If you ever do awards I’d suggest the categories be in the form of BK’s “F”…FP==favorite post of all time FT == favorite troll, etc…BK developed a vernacular unique to IDO.

I will not be surprised when the day comes I get a 404 from this address, but it will be sad day. “Back in the day” new members to FTR were assigned a number indicating the they were member number “X”. Thus my signature for a few years here has been FTR #35. It was the gold standard for the exchange of information about fishing without a lot of infighting (except the James and Hoggie spat) and bickering.

He couldn’t stop talking about it all day yesterday. When we got home he told Mom in a very serious tone; that, “This is a really big milestone in my life, most people don’t get their first boat until they’re like 30.”

Gotta love those lines from the kids! rotflol

From what I could tell, I’m not sure these guys had a conscious regarding a kids hunt. So I thought best to keep him safe, back-out, calm down and regroup.

I agree with your approach. There a many “teaching moments” in raising a child and walking up on a couple of unknown guys in a woods is not necessarily one of them. They could be armed, high on whatever, just plain nuts or a couple of nice guys fartin’ around. Taking a child into that situation is not a good idea imho.

If you can believe it, half the state is still in moderate drought status, and more than half is considered abnormally dry, with one small pocket of severe drought in SW MN.

Snow melt only contributes to ground water if there is little to no frost. With frost most of it is just run off.

One meal at Canes was enough for a lifetime for me and my wife. CFA, Popeyes or KFC very, very occasionally…only so much grease and fat we can stomach in a meal, but it does taste good.

If it hasn’t been said yet, I’d suggest a metal roof with enough pitch to shed snow.

Beware of the gable direction. I had friends who’s gable ran length wise on the house. Their walking entry was on the front of the house. So…the snow comes off that metal roof really nice and “avalanches” (their word not mine) onto their sidewalk in front of the house. This is a south facing home.

The utility room would be climate controlled 24/7/365. I’d install tees and ball valves on the supply lines to gravity drain the plumbing above to make winterizing a breeze and not heat the entire cabin for weeks/months when not using it.

Think twice. Having an interior go to 0 or below is very hard on every component of the house, let alone as mentioned shifts and cracks. It sounds like a good idea to save a few bucks but the consequences could require a lot of maintenance and rework.
If you end up with forced air consider a multispeed furnace fan to circulate air 24/7 just slightly when you are not there. This is especially true if you end up with a basement.
