Cold springs – they are fishing for panfish. Been going strong for a couple weeks and will be through ice fishing season. Below Lynxville dam/lock, fish should be there particularly saugers and walleyes. Most likelylots of grass making it very difficult to fish.

After surgery, don’t sneeze! This may be the most painful thing you experience, ever. Normal daily stuff within a week, standing for long periods or heavy lifting will take at least a month.

Another alternative to the above great recipes is salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce. Put in a bag with the sauce for 10 minutes or longer before cooking. Do not overcook!

No need for power washer if you use the cleaner. Generally regular waterms pressure will be enough.

You should check with Todd at Arrowhead Kennels near Waterloo, IA. Great trainer and has some pups from time to time. He can probably put you in touch with a number of reputable breeders if he doesn’t have one. He has a website if you google it. Good luck!

We replaced our land line a couple years ago. We actually transferred the same number to a new cell phone that generally stays at the house. Occasionally we take it with us when we head out of town for a couple days as well. Plus when we went to a cell phone even though the number stayed the same, most telemarketing calls stopped. Make sure you sign up your number on the do not call list. Of course political parties are exempt from this list.

    Just my 2 cents.

Was there last year 1st week of August with the family. One of the best vacations ever. We also stayed in West Yellowstone at Kelly’s Inn. Nice place. Depending on your goals the Grand Tetons just south are beautiful, great hiking everywhere. Good luck.

I agree, seems to be a good product. I’m sure it’s “free” days are coming to an end.

Also check with Doc’s Kennel’s in Adel Iowa. We had an incredible experience with a GSP from there. It looks like they get dogs from Boone Valley kennels now. I would call dwon there and check them out. Good luck with your dog shopping. For your reference – GSP’s have a ton more energy than labs. They are incredibly loyal and protective as well. I had both and love both breeds for different reasons.

Just as I always believed, I knew there was a Santa Claus. Merry Christmas to all!

It appears this law is mainly for Canadian residents. As I read the instructions, non-residents of Canada only need the card if they operate their boat in Canadian waters for 45 consecutive days. Thus the yearly week long trip to Canada should be exempt from this law. Of course, I could be reading this wrong.

First you are going about the best time of the year. Great job. Walleye should be hot. Check out any windy, rocky or weedy point. Some of favorites are Noshota point, Ram Islands (watch for the rocks), Ram Island and Pine Island. I fish mainly for walleye’s. There are a ton of weedy bays that hold northern. Obviously look for the rocks when hunting for Smallies. Crappies are very scattered this time of year. Good luck and take it all in.

You can try Jim and Julie’s Wabaskang Camp. It’s about 4-5 hours across the border. Great fishing, primarily walleyes and pike. Bonus fish of smallmouth.

Ended up not going up due to the “grass” issue. Hopefully in the next week or so, the water will clear up and the fishing will improve.
