Turned off all the views I don’t use. Since simply disconnecting the battery when not in use, I’ve been out for 16-18 hours since I charged it. I’m down from 14v to 13.1v. Damn good since minimum operating voltage is listed at 10.8v. I forgot to disconnect the night b4 my last outing and it didn’t drain at all. I’ll simply disconnect.

My Legend xl has plenty of room. The Wide 1 has room up front and is around the same weight. Either of these will be a good choice.

I hold the button until it turns off. It’s off when I close up the shuttle bag. I lost 13.3 volts since Friday night. Battery was connected.

No switch on this unit. Other than on the front there is only the little slot for micro sd card. After fishing Friday I had 13.3 volts on my status screen. Now it shows 0 volts. I guess I have to disconnect the battery every time. I never had to do that with my Ice 35.

Humminbird tells me there’s a shuttle of switch on the shuttle too. Not that I’ve ever seen. Maybe on the 7 and or 9. Like RM said. If I disconnect the battery it will prevent accidentally turning it on.

I’m in contact with Amped and Humminbird hasn’t responded yet. Amped wants me to check that the charger is operating at 14.6v. I’ll pick up a volt meter Monday. It’s set for the 12v LiFe Po battery.

Mine shows 100% all the time. I have it set to the proper battery as well. I thought it will always say 100 until it’s almost out with LiFePO4 batteries?

The Mr Heater, Heater/cooker works well for this. Then you can heat up anything you can fit in a pan on top of it. Soup, sausages anything. Smoked sausages from Sam’s with kraut would be awesome. I just eat Kwik Trip cold sandwiches.

Well said. My wife has tried to get me these things and it’s never quite right. I’m very grateful for the effort and good intentions but thevgift card idea is best.

Where is the ducer cable going? Pinched on the end when you slide it in?

Maybe a golf club with something that will hold the ducer on the end. I had a CHEAP Zebco depth finder that came with an attachment for the ducer that screwed on to a broom handle for exactly this purpose.

Now I have to try to get Amazon to take mine back. Same issues you had. They referred me to 2 places to have them fix it if they could. I asked don’t you know if they will fix it? They had no idea. Beyond frustrating. They got your money and don’t care.

My 9000 btu unit takes 5+ minutes for the white plate to fully glow. Then on lo it barely stays lit and blue flame flickers like the last few seconds b4 my Buddy runs out of gas. They will not take it back to fix it. They will not replace it. Only send parts for me to fix!!

$40 @ Scheel’s right now. Bought a 30m. Feels close to the 2B Spoon Daddy they sell for $99.

It has the chimney hole. Only 300d nylon and old trippy doors. Says 115 sq ft fishable area though. Biggest I’ve seen.

One day they’re $99.99 & 1/2 off. Sometimes they’re $50-$60. Buy 1 get 1 half off. Set a good price & run with it. All that being said I love my ICX Carbon. Haven’t got line on the Frost yet.

According to HT it is a LT MED made for dead sticking. The back bone starts 4-5″ back from the tip. It has handled some nice bassand a couple Northern pretty easily. Polar Lite 27″ light medium.

That’s what I’m asking. The only rods I have with a fast tip I use for a dead stick and an HT for Itty bitty baits for pan fish. The tip can’t be that whippy.. Do you really get a good feel with a fast tip?

Well, it’s a little grindy and the spool won’t come off.

I should have known that. I have that reel. That on an ACC Crappiestix hauled in a 25″ Pike on 3 lb line. No problem.

I’m getting a Piscifun ICX Frost for walleyes. Not sure if I’ll put it on a med or ml. Drag should be good at 12 lbs and I don’t think the slower speed 2.7/1 vs 5.2/1 should be a big deal. I like the line release trigger and the Carbon I got last year is really smooth.

I got an Amazon Prime Price of $50 on the Frost. It will be here Wednesday.
