Rapala stopped making these and I’m looking for any that people have available. I’ll take any colors you may have.

PM me if you have any you are willing to part with and I’ll pay a fair price and shipping.

Jsr were only ever made in sizes 4,5 and 7. Never a 6

Wait… Did a Ranger 620 really sink? I would have thought that was impossible.

Choose your ammo carefully. You will always find someone who will sell you .22 ammo but there could be a shortage of 22 Mag or any other specialty caliber. You buy a gun to shoot it. A gun without ammo is like a pack of smokes without a lighter!

Agree with the support for Game Unlimited. The clubhouse is first class and the owner Pete is great. Sporting clays that you can go shoot my yourself even when the club is closed, scratch hunting and indoor trap range…

    I highly reccomend Game Unlimited.

My last two labs have been british and I will stay with them forever.

The first one was from Welcome Home Labs up by duluth. Scout was a chocolate female, Absolutley the coolest dog I ever owned. Independent but happy, easy to train, a great family dog and a great upland hunting dog. Never really worked ducks with her, she retrieved decoys like the hell though. Lost her to a car on a busy road in front of my house last February. I would give anything to have her back. I know other people who have dogs from Welcome Home Labs and they love them. I think they sku towards great family dogs and good hunting dogs.

Devastated I set out to find a new British. Talked to many at the Sportshow and then found KT British Labs in Alexandria. Boom! He had a pup available so we brought him home in May. Fletcher is a Black Male. He is a great family dog, soft mouth and has a good nose. He has been at the trainer, I am picking him up Friday. He is only 8 months old but the trainer (Wings and Whistles in St. Bonneventure) says he looks real good. Big motor, soft mouth and trainable.

Both of these dogs are/were about 60 lbs and both were full of personality.

I love both of these breeders. Hard to say which one is best but both of these breeders gave me a dog that I absolutely love. RIP Scout. Happy Decoy Retrieving Opener!

Most people are going out of the ferry landing launch in North Hudson to fish near the King Power Plant. There were about 20 houses out there tonight when I crossed the Stillwater bridge.

I have seen a few trucks on the ice but I would not want to be first until I knew the ice was safe.

I saw a nice sturgeon caught today so I will get out tomorrow.

    Good Luck!

STOP! Let me tell you from experience, before you go plugging lithium batteries into non specified chargers make sure you get expert advice from someone you trust.

For example, if you plug a dakota lithium battery into your traditional flasher charger it can start a fire. I have seen this first hand and lithium batteries are nothing to play with unless you know what you are doing.

If I knew what I was doing, I would give you advice other than be very careful!

I have two Labs. One from Piddle Creek and a puppy that is from a line from Piddle Creek. I have used Jason Gooding for boarding and some training. Both those places are good.

Four of my friends and I have used Mike Shulenburg at wings and whistles in Victoria. I believe he is fantastic.

I have sent two dogs there. They both live in our house with my wife and kids, are extremely obedient and great hunters.

As far as I know, the prices on all three of these places are about the same.

    Good luck.

    Enjoy the dog.

You must use the Lithium Ion battery charger. Standard chargers do not work.

I have found that you need to have a swivel between the lead and the leader. Because it is made with Dyneema instead of Dacron, if the line twists for any reason, the dyneema does not stretch and causes it to break the lead core.

    Good luck.

The Wollner children have a strong track record. We will say a prayer for your dad tonight.

As a father of two teen agers and a dad who was not and is not perfect, my prayers go out to this family. I did much worse as a kid and survived. I have let my kids go down to the pier and swim. There is no fault, just unfortunate. God speed and my prayers to the family. Sometimes life is not fair and there is no explanation. Life is not always fair.

The biggest news to come out of this deal is probably Wollner finally upgrading his flashers.

I will be throwing away the rock and string! Started fishing the MarCum stuff in December and I love it!
