Totally not a huge deal, but the post counter to the right of the user name does not seem to tally. Does it only count for originating the post or should it also count replies?

(If it is for just originating the post BK is sure full of himself ;) )

Oh and can we get a page selector at the top too? Quicker than having to scroll all the way to the bottom (through all the stuff you have already read) to get to the last (newest) page.

By the way I use my android phone. Not sure if that matters.

I use a surgeon’s end loop in the end of the braid. I make the loop about six inches long the knot works good for a feel indicator. It also makes quick work switching my musky leaders to sturgeon rigs. I have never had this knot fail me.

Everyone else is south of the high lines… am I missing something?

Out again last night. North of the high lines again. The two biggest of the night 50 and a 48 and both came at about the same time. The first one got wrapped up in the anchor and while I was messing with that. No one was paying attention to the other lines, even though I kept asking them how the other rods were doing. Get the first fish in the boat pics and back in, I glanced around at the other three lines, things looked a little askew, noticed one bouncing. Handed Joe the rod and he reels down sweeps and starts reeling up comes the other line. Oops! Get it untangled one rod free and clear. I can still feel the the fish on the line from the other side of the boat. Have him grab that rod reel down, sweep….solid… Anchor… Again… Start pulling it up, about 3/4 of the way up I see the other anchor rope coming up shortly followed by the other small anchor. And the fish with about ten feet of line. I carefully hand lined her into the net. WHAT A MESS! I am just glad we where able to get it all straightened out and see these fish. Definitely will be checking lines myself next time… There is nothing better then getting someone their first sturgeon. Another one hooked )

It was great! The fish did not fight much on the way up. You could tell it was there, but as soon as it broke the surface it ‘woke up’ and game on! It made a couple good runs and got us a little wet. You’re right BK you should have seen his face when it made the first run. Priceless! The last two are the next biggest fish of the night and the first is on a trip with BK years ago, and it is still one of my favorites.

It has been a few years since I have made it out. Last night was awesome! 8 fish boated this was the biggest at 54″ and it was his first sturgeon ever. BK I can see why you love what you do. It was almost more fun to watch my friends reel in these beasts. I didn’t bring a fish up myself yet it was one of the most satisfying outings to date for me. We were on the St. Croix by the high lines. Crawlers/fathead combo seemed to work best.
