Been using Luminoks for 20+ years and I’ve never had a problem with them. I’ve taken shots and left the arrows out overnight and came back and found them later the next day with the knock still lit. I used a knocking plier to turn them and pull them out a bit and put new blades in them and use them again.

My wife and I got started on “the 100” after my son and daughter-in-law said they were watching it on Netflix. We ended up watching all 7 seasons, which was 100 episodes, in 3 weeks.

Are those Accu-tips that much better than a Brenneke? I’ve got a Winchester 1200 20 gauge that I shoot 3″ Brenneke slugs through and can drive tacks with it. The price on the Accu-tips seem to be a little on the outrageous side at $25-$28 per box of 5. I bought 5 boxes of 3″ Brennekes online a month ago for $63.50 and that included shipping! The 2 3/4″ were even cheaper.

I have a larger LEM slicer that works fantastic, the only thing I dont like about it is you cant cut long pieces of meat like bacon on it.
If they would have made the tray slides longer it would be perfect.
I own a lot of LEM products and no complaints with any of them other than what I mentioned with the slicer.

I also have an 8.5″ and if you look under th carriage there are different adjustments for a longer stroke. I don’t know if it would be enough adjustment to handle bacon without cutting it in half. I have been doing that since I started making my own bacon and as I was cleaning up the slicer this last time, I noticed the adjustment. Haven’t tried it yet but worth looking into.

You would think that a woman that was pregnant, and already has a child would present with a little more class. That performance definately was not a family friendly viewing event.

For that extra special touch add encapsulated citric acid at the end, just before stuffing. This has a special coating that dissolves at around 138F and give the sausage that tangy flavor, and easy way to replicate what a starter culture would do. Do a search of their site and they sell high temperature cheese that you can add to the meat, makes for a different spin on it. I guarantee you will find your summer sausage will rival anything that could be made on the outside. Just follow the instructions and Voila!!!
    [/quote]

The citric acid adds a great “tangy” flavor to the summer sausage but make sure you DO NOT add it to the meat until you are ready to stuff. Just mix it into the prepared meat thoroughly. If you mix it into the meat before it is ground, like most people do with seasonings, you will break the capsules and your sausage will be very mushy.

My 66 yr old brother-in-law had ankle joint replacement at least 2 years ago and is still working. He’s a painter and is on a ladder alot. From what I understand the recovery time is monthes, not weeks.

A product called Vessel works very well. I purchased a 2 1/2 gallon jug online from one of those DIY sites and have had very good weed control.

The reason I ask is they accept Paypal. I’ve never had an issue with a site that accepted it.

I’ve got the Primos Gen 3 Triggerstick and am very happy with it. It’s a bi-pod style.

I also think that any fruitwood works best with salmon. Whatever you do don’t put your fillets on the main rack. That is too close to the fire source even on the lowest setting. I put mine on the warming rack and still have to watch it very carefully.

Try a new hose. The older Evinrude hoses flake off within the hose and you could be pumping those flakes through.

Looks tasty. Care to share the recipe?

    sure pretty simple.

As many cukes as you want to use. Also onions as you like.

I peel the cukes, clean the onions and use one of them 4 sided things for slicing and shredding. Slice the cukes and onions, mix together.

Add salt, generous supply, let stand 2 1/2 to 3 hours, mix up occasionally. rinse thoroughly several times.

Throw them in a bowl, add half and half till mixed. No real measurements. Add a bit of sugar and vinegar. The more vinegar you add the more tart it gets. Taste test it till you get the desired results. To tart and more sugar.

This recipe over fresh red potatoes can’t be beat!!

I have a Bubba rechargable that comes with 4 blades. The longest is a 12″ stiff blade that I haven’t used yet, but if it works like the other three, I don’t think you will be disappointed. A little pricey but it comes with two batteries. Also there is no cord to contend with.

Had a 2006 Siverado that had the same problem. Drilled an 1/8″ hole in the bottom of the lens to drain the water out and didn’t have a problem afterwards.

Never been over there fishing but have a trip planned for Sept 2-4 with Kinn’s Sport Fishing out of Algoma. Was told that the Kings should be at their heaviest weight by then. Just hoping for good weather!

Been doing some research on them and Malethion is supposed to take care of the adults. Nematodes, which are little micro-organisms, will take care of the grubs that turn into the adults next year,if you spread them on your lawn. I’m deciding whether I should pull the trigger on purchasing them. I have about 3 acres to cover and according to the website I will need 150 million of the little buggers! That relates to $216.00 for the 150 or I can get 250 million for $198.00. Last year they completely annihilated most of my trees and some shrub, so I am seriously considering them.

I had a 1957 5.5 evinrude that needed repair and took it to Dick’s Marine in Winona. Mark had no problem repairing it. Maybe a little too far?

OSB 4’x8’x1/2″ $74.69!!! Ten times what you paid for it 2 years ago. Had a 3 car garage scheduled to be built in June with materials quoted the end of April. Just talked to the lumber guy and the same materials went up $5000! Needless to say there isn’t going to be a garage in my very near future

Was in a group of 6 people all over the age of 66, two over 75, who had the Pfizer shots in February. Not one of us had any ill effects aside from a little soreness at injection site.

I just checked on concrete prices for a garage. 5 bag mix is new priced at $122 per yard! I remember hauling mud in my younger days for $18 per yard and people complained about that price!

Once you get it out, coat the taper with No-Seize. Don’t over-do it as the stuff can get on everything. Wipe away any that squeezes out after you push the ped back in.

I have the Fimco spreader and for the money, it is worth it. I spread seed, fertilizer and pelletized lime with it and it works great.

Can you post a link to whatever you are looking at? If you go to VMC there is nothing there that I can find. I’ve got quite a few of them made by Trigger X, but I believe they either went out of business or discontinued them.

I usually plant fall crop radishes on or before labor day and normally have a bumper crop. German Giants and French Breakfast are my favorites.

Just had a guy do some remodeling of our bathroom. 20# of bacon and 12 quarts of dill pickles took care of labor for 1 guy. peace

I love to barter I trade homemade V8 juice for hard cider and homemade wine. It would be great if america would get back to doing this more often.

Don’t happen to have a recipe for that V-8 handy, do you?? waytogo
