I’ll vouch for Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs. I ran them on my last truck. Then tried Toyo AT3s. Those sucked, so on my new truck I went back to the Wrangler Duratracs.

So when we make over $75k, we don’t deserve to get any of OUR money back? How about they give it back based on what we paid.

This is the start of redistribution of wealth. F***ing ridiculous.

My grandparents have one that basically mounts to the post that the crank mounts to, and pushes against the big crank. You can still do it manually if you want to with this setup. I don’t have any pics of it though…

Big difference between a government DMV and a privately owned DMV. The one up here in Brainerd is privately owned and they’re great! The one down in St. Cloud makes you want to just drive without a license!

You guys have any success actually shooting deer at those distances? A lot can go wrong that far out no?

No, deer I won’t shoot past 40. They’re far too jumpy. I like to practice out to longer ranges because it requires you to be more fine tuned in every way. Then when you go to take a short shot on a deer it’s way easier!

Hoyt Torrex XT, maxed out at 72lbs. Switched to a Black Gold 3 pin slider this year. 10000x better than fixed pins in my opinion!

I regularly practice out to 80 yards, occasionally stretching it out to 100. It makes anything under 40 yards feel like a chip shot!

SOG twitch II. I got tired of serrated blades, this is small enough to not be obnoxious, but big enough to clean a deer if needed!!!

5g is overrated IMO and likely why you guys are having problems.

My problem is with 4g. Verizon doesn’t have any 5g around me…

I have both phone. Android for personal, and an iPhone for work. They both drop calls on Verizon. It’s getting really irritating and that’s why I’m switching. Plus, Verizon has very little 5g coverage. If I’m going to be paying a premium price for the “best” service, I should have the best speeds right?

Verizon is the way to go, You hear about everyone else complaining but you never hear a Verizon customer complaining about coverage. Just saying……..

Funny you mention it… Verizon sucks azz up around Brainerd. There’s so many random dead spots and it’s getting so annoying I’m looking to switch to AT&T.

Verizon is all I’ve ever had. But since moving here, it’s getting really irritating randomly loosing coverage all over the place.

Based on last weekend, there’s still plenty of fish in the lake. Bump it up to 2 or 3 fish between 16-18 inches Make it a tight slot, but let anglers actually keep some fish. There’s no shortage of hungry fish in there.

I saw no reluctance for fish to bite. I’d drop a bobber on their head and they’d swim up and eat it.

I was thrilled when I saw the headline the first time… Then I saw they’re giving another inch. Still not worth it.

Well, our most brilliant minds have deduced that nothing can travel faster than the speed of light. Why would and could any other beings have the capability to reach us in their lifespan since our radio waves have only traveled 150+or~ light years in distance. Hence they if they’re 150 light years away they would be just finding out about us and they won’t be here for another 150 years if they have the capability to travel at the speed of light??!!??

The most brilliant minds clearly haven’t watched star wars… It’s possible! jester

What’s not to like about saving 1000s of lives

Banning smoking is estimated to likely save close to 500,000 deaths each year in the US. Banning the use of automobiles each year would save over 50,000 in car related fatalities alone. Why not ban those as well.

    Lets ban illegal drugs too!!!

I did it last year and it was an experience. I went solo. Was able to get away from people for the most part. Planning on doing it again this year.

Saw a hand full of deer and a bear. Wasn’t able to hit it real hard, but this year I’m going to hunt it harder!

We will most likely be sleeping in the truck or next to it in the Otter if we get drawn. Brother in law who shot a beautiful buck there last year said he just winged it and saw 8 shooter bucks just past 55 to 70 yards and then the one he shot came in at 10 yards. He shot it and it collapsed under a tree 80 yards away and another guy helped him drag it out so the other guy could keep hunting.

I contemplated tenting last year. I might do it this year just so I don’t have to wait in that crazy line from the entrance. I live only 30 mins away, but by the time I get up, and leave, then go wait in line for awhile, I might as well just pitch a tent and enjoy the opportunity to camp.

Every. Single. Day. I’m reminded why I love my tiller so much!

Definitely don’t grind the frame. That won’t end well… Something somewhere is moving, and there aren’t a lot of options for it to be. Start checking them out. I’d assume there’s somewhere to adjust the reveal.

Run with your rod tips in the water a few inches. Or, like jimmy said, put something on the line, usually a snap weight clip works well and comes off really easily.

Better yet, make your son take it apart and go through the lower unit. Good opportunity for him to learn, especially since it was likely his doing that ended you up in this situation!

I’d take it apart again and see if there was water in it. It sounds like it might have water and it might be getting a little crusty around the armature and brushes.

Northern Plains Retrievers is where my parents got our family lab Quinn from.

    http://www.northernplainsretrievers.com/

Beautiful dog with a serious drive to hunt! She is 6 years old now but is still a bundle of fun and joy. Guarantees on their hips and eyes. So they’re confident in the bloodlines that your dog won’t suffer from some of the more common problems that labs have.

They are great people and they breed some great dogs!

Ryobi, Milwaukee, and Rigid (Home Depot Brand) are both owned by Techtronic Industries.

    Doesn’t really mean anything though.

I didn’t expect Lowrance to warranty the units.
A 2 plus hour wait to talk to a human is crazy.

The recent update has had the phone lines very busy I’ve heard… That’s certainly not the normal wait time. Did you not want to receive a call back when it was your turn in line? It usually asks if instead of waiting they’ll call you once you’re up…

There was an update released recently that caused some issues w/ Lowrance’s Active Target.

I called HB a couple of years ago trying to get a unit fixed… It was too old to get fixed. It was only 5 years old. It’s not a Lowrance problem. I’ve had nothing but good experiences with Lowrance customer service so far. Only needed them once.

I have plenty of Ryobi stuff now. Tons of hand tools. They’ve seen a lot of use, not everyday, but a LOT of use. Still 0 issues to report. As a homeowner & DIY guy they seem to be pretty damn good for the price.

    Not true.

Correct, I forgot you can run these on 24v!

This question my have been asked before but here goes. I’m installing an Active Target 2 & I would like to know if I can wire it up my battery supply to a Dewalt 20V 9AH FlexVolt battery. I’ll be wiring my Elite FS9 to my cranking battery which is 12v but was just wondering about my sonar module. Dan

You would need a voltage reducer to bring that 20v down to like 12-15v. In my opinion, it’s not worth it. Just get a battery specifically for AT. I run all my graphs on 1 100ah lithium. You could get away with a smaller 30ah 12v lithium for around $100 on amazon.
