The new vent cap looks like it’s the auto vent style. Last night while I was testing for leaks it didn’t have a problem. I’ll have to keep an eye on it. The old style was the manual vent, never had a problem with that. Unless of course I forgot to close it!

I was wondering about that too. The replacement tank came with a new fuel line and a spare line as well.

It’s a Mako 43. The tank was leaking where the fasteners are pressed into the tank. The new tank has tabs that aren’t part of the fuel storage area. Hopefully this design will last longer. From some other comments on the web it sounds like an issue others have had with the same age of auger. Until this happened I’ve been happy with the auger, cuts nice and starts easy. And carrying it gives me some needed exercise.

I have a Nuvi 205w with the ’09 Lakemaster chip in it. Works great. The only limitations I see are specific to the 205 itself, it’s a little old so the software functionality isn’t as good as some newer models and of course a bigger screen would always be nice. Otherwise I’ve been happy with the setup.

Here’s my new PB, 55 inches. Caught last Sunday just when we were going to leave. Of course that meant we had to stay a while longer! Definitely looking forward to next year. Now my brother (Rootski) has something to shoot for!
