If your going to fish alone go to everts they have a big sand beach that wont hurt your boat at all and its huge there are plenty of places to put your boat where it wont get hurt. And the crowds are not that bad its just some people dont pay attention if you keep your head up and dont go so fast around the groups of people you’ll be FINE…

We have been pulling 3-way for the last few weeks and weve had some success.

I have fire line on my rods with about a foot drop and about 5 ft lead.

We are catching fish in the middle of the channel and in the shallows. But alot more jigging! Good luck

And the jig size varies, but there are plenty of ways to catch wallleye. When the water warmes up a little pool 4 is known for pulling lead core. Pulling plugs is a very common way to fish the river. And three way, you can pull live bait or plugs. Or you can hand line. Just a couple differnt ways for you to try

There are many ways to catch fish it just takes time and practice. (If it was easy it would be called catching not fishing..)

    Good Luck

Went out yesterday from noon til 4 caught alot of small fish at the dam really nothing in size. I didnt see a hole lot of fish being caught.

About 2 we move a little farther down the river and caught a few 2-3 pounders.

We were useing a fireball and a fathead and just jigging.

This next week the weather is supposed to warm up, and hopefully stay for a while.

We will see ya out there.
