Mine were also wired to the front rod locker battery bank of my 1875 pro guide. I dont anticipate using them so I disconnected them and zip tied them to the wire bundle running under the front live well. You may need to take out one battery to find them. There were three wires for mine, red, orange, and black. Also had a 50amp inline fuse in the red line. Good Luck!

Looked into this a bit more. Are you then using 3 transducers total? one for high speed 2d, and then two for SI? Seems like using 2 y cables would then eliminate the need for a transducer switch.

Does this mean that you guys are running the same Mega si transducer on both sides of the outboard? Im not familiar with the double transducer system.

Heading up to the Rainy the 15th through the 18th for a sturgeon trip. Given everyones experience with the river, is it possible for wheelers launch to be open by then? Looks like its supposed to warm up after this cold snap but I am not sure how fast it can open up.

I used to fish smelt all the time on a bay of Lake Superior. Used half a waxie and a small glow tear drop jig with the most sensitive spring bobber you can get. Fished in about 30FOW and when a school moved through they would be thick the entire water column. Wasnt unlikely to pull in 200 hundred in a night between you and a buddy.

I emailed strikemaster as well, and got a replacement fuel line mailed to me. Very impressed with the customer service. The black lines definitely had some shrinking issues, as far as I am concerned the Solo motor is still a great engine. Replacing the lines takes all but a few minutes! Minor issue IMO.

Had my auger out today with cable ties on and still had the line become disconnected. Seems like new lines that are a bit longer would be a good fix.
