Do you say the same thing about starting fires now. rotflol

Braid don’t freeze cause it’s absorbing water it freezes cuz it’s wet and instantly freezes in real cold temps. That and the water wicking off the eyelet.
I kind of like chewing ice off my line keeps me hydrated.

    Time for a holiday break.
Need to get back to playing strong D and good goaltending. 3 key pieces which they are missing on that front.

For the record nobody said faceoffs are not important.

Won’t be a problem will just depend on where you can get on. South bays have trucks and houses already main lake does not yet.

    Agree with Reef.
Been using lithium batteries much longer than lithium boat batteries were around. Cold storage is not the issue. You do not want to store them at 100 percent charge. Typically 75-80 percent. You want to charge them when they are warmed up. Storing in cold weather is usually not an issue. Cold usage and charging is. Been doing it several years with other lithium batteries. Some are large. I would not leave a lithium charger attached at all times unless you have good insurance. Any battery is more likely to discharge in warm weather vs cold.

But an hour in a boat/fish house/snowmobile has brought me far more joy than my 401(k) ever has. So as long as you are taking care of the long term (retirement), live it up in the short term!

    YOLO

If I didn’t spend money on a boat or other toys I would probably be spending that money on therapy sessions.

At least a wheel house can double as a camper year round. I don’t think you can get very far riding a sled in July.

Sure. Some have more time in winter to ride than summer to camp. Same same.
Bottom line the long term forecast for all rec items is probably not much growth. Less people getting into it and less people overall in that age category.

Treat others as you would like to be treated.

I tend to lean this way. Not everyone does or knows this. If another fisherman ruins your day of fishing. You ain’t fishing right or fishing for the right reasons.

All I know is that less competition has never been a good thing consumers. To me the whole snowmobile thing has always blown my mind. The cost of them seem crazy to me for the amount of use a person gets out of them. Some years more than others, but never all that much. I know lots of riders who seem to always need to be upgrading to newer models every few years. They also seem to take a rather big beating every time they upgrade. I guess unless its your passion its hard to understand.

Not much different than a wheel house. Better chance of ripping around in a sled after work and weekends then hauling a big shack a few times a year.

You said teams have guys as in plural.
Was just stating most teams don’t have multiple guys at 55-60 percent.
Center is only part of the equation as well. You can certainly get a win if your wingers win their part as well.

Anywho Russo did have a good article stating they are at 30 percent or so on faceoffs on the PK. That’s not good.
Wild need to get healthy sooner than later.

The good faceoff teams have guys in the 55-60%+ range, Wild have a ways to go….

Guys? Austin Mathew’s is 25th in the league at 55 percent. So there are 25 actual centers in the entire league with 55-60 percent. That’s not even 1 per team.

    Anything over 50 is solid.

6-8ft during low light on a tip up with a shiner next to some weeds. Just saying……

This sometimes even shallower. Low light and well into dark.

That’s goal tender interference all day every day
That was literally definition of goal tender interference. What are you guys watching. He skated through the paint and made contact with the goalie as the shot was coming. Bob was clearly in his space and Rossi was clearly in the paint. If only the shoe was on the other foot.

Poor kid 0-3 this year. Little man may never get to see a W this year. 830 central time is a joke. I always bring him to the premiere games, so should maybe bring him against the Ducks.

Nobody wanted to mention the change of time for the game tonight. What a bunch of crap now I have to sit inside the X until 11pm that’s way past my bed time.

This dollar for dollar trade scenario the wild are in make it almost impossible to get a top six guy to replace jojo right now.

Wow that’s steep for world junior tickets. I know it’s a popular event, but that’s ridiculous.

    That’s every game.

I got a solution turn your head and watch the puck and you won’t get hit in the back of it. Or don’t stick your head out past your post to be exposed to that shot.

Dudes are not even wearing full face mask and we are worried about a flip shot to the back of a goalies head.

You are trying to find a solution to a problem that does not exist.

Who cares? I mean a full page of how thick the foam is in the back of a goalie helmet for a hypothetical scenario.
    Slow day for sure.

The back padding on a goalie helmet is the same as the rest of the helmet.

You can jump off the wagon at any time if you wish.

13-18 through 31 games last year
20-11 through 31 games this year.

They didn’t beat up on weaker teams last year
    At least not very often.

But hey if they just replace JoJo with some magical top six wing for zero dollars this year think how good they could be…

with the caphits prorated, we’ll be able to afford most players available, we can also offer up a late round pick for a team to retain some caphit as well. I dont expect whoever they’ll get is a huge caphit to start with anyways…

At this point they are in risk of finishing over the cap which would affect their ceiling next year.

BG sounds less confident than you right now.

Asked if he thinks this will hurt his trade deadline plans to possibly add a top-six forward, Guerin said, “Yeah, I mean, it probably will. And again, that’s just one of those things. We can’t control it. We’ve been doing our best to build up cap space as we go along. But things happen and we can’t necessarily control it all the time. We’ll see what we can do though. That’s a couple months away. So we’ll see.”
