Just happened to me 2 weeks ago. The thermo coupler is the issue. Easy fix.

Here is what I currently have. They are $.50 each. When this batch is gone they are gone. I have more but will not break into those until this batch is sold out. Please note that not all of these have the crystal on top. Any questions please PM. I do not have a website. I sell everything out of my home in central Wisconsin. Thank you

I will be placing an order with you to try some of these lures. From your first picture it looks like you have many different color options. Could you take a picture of the different color options or list them. I would PM you on this but I am sure others may be wondering the same thing.

I will do that tonight when I’m home. Limited quantities of all sizes and colors.

I’ve used the same crystals for eyes in plastics I’ve made. They do toss a lot of light around. I don’t spend much time on ice anymore so I’d pass on buying. But here’s a good start at a market….”I would buy one but I buy everything”. lol mrgreen

    Well I’ve sold over a 1500 since Saturday. I think I have a market.

Its a shad dart head. Pretty common and without the rhinestone and tubing they do a pretty good job on panfish in open water. Might be a bit too much for under the ice.

Well you should try one under the ice. It’s actually a Swarovski crystal. Tested them and boy do they reflect the light under the water. Can’t see how this would be “too much” considering there is glow everything now. The tube on the shank is removable. It’s there for when you fish with a grub it hides the shank of the hook.

does anyone put a clear coat finish on their jigs after they put on vinyl eyes?

put some eye’s on those jigs using white or black vinyl paints using a small straw. just a dab and you’ve got an eye.

Got the vinyl already and the straws. Two different sizes to test out.

Nice stuff there Rico. This hobby will grow on you. Big time. There is nothing more satisfying than catching fish on something you made yourself. Keep up the good work.

As you get more and more into this jig making and powder painting try some of this to add to your powder colors….about a tablespoon to a 2 ounce jar.

    http://www.roseyspowdercoating.com/all/glass-clear-200-gloss-1-lb-250.html

This will level out the pain real well and get rid of roughness brought on by humidity. This clear will go into any color without any color change whatever and just makes painting a breeze, even from the paint jar.

Thanks for tip. Will have to try this.

I just found 50 rod blanks in my grandpas basement. I’m gonna make as many as I can this offseason for me and friends. Not sure if you can have enough.

I shared this link on another post. Probably the most informative/life saving article I’ve read on thawing ice. Anyone who goes on the ice should read this.
