how would it effect the reel if they are slightly back straight? The problem i am having now is that the spool won’t totally fit in the “chamber.” This resulting in the side plate not going on. Any input on that?
Now for some odd reason yesterday, I couldn’t get the bass to bite on anything topwater. So I pitched plastics on the weedline and caught a fair amount of 2-3lb bass. It was a good time, but I wish I could have caught bigger. I also tried using bass jigs with a trailer on it and couldn’t get them to bite with that either. Anyone know why? Was it too early in the morning for them to be down deep? Time(6pm-8pm)
Anybody know of an inexpensive, but good quality baitcasting reel that permorms well? I am matching it up with a 7′ medium-heavy St Croix mojo bass rod. Thanks
So now, what color of buzzbaits should I have in my tackle box. I only have a Black Booyah one and a Northland Black/Red one. And what should I do in the wind? Do buzzbaits still work when its 20mph wind out of the South?
So I mean, how can he afford the time to reel in slack, lower the rod tip, and set the hook? Because i sure as heck know that if i tried doing that, the fish would already spit the bait out.
