Make sure you have a stinger. Only fish we caught or saw caught were barely haning on to that stinger hook. Rocks and down current for about a hundred yards is were we marked most of the fish.

Thanks for the advice! Would you recomend starting up by the damm? Left side? Also, are they still in winter pattern, deeper holes?

Well, I guess Im not sure. Ima rookie to The big river. The fellow that Im going with lives in Savana, and if I recall we launched out of Clinton, and then later in the day, drove up to the next dam and fished there. I can go anywere the bite is, so recomendations are welcome!
