Hi. Just got back from fishing Namakagon last week. Had pretty good luck fishing walleye on weed edges but I don’t think this will be reliable in 3+ weeks. Namakagon is a brackish lake with an algae bloom that should be over by then. You missed the swarms of may flies last week.
Lakewoods has a great applewood bacon burger and a popular Sunday all-you-can-eat buffet with crab legs. Also recommended.

Thanks for responses. Overall thyme appears to be you get what you pay for!! After speaking with a local dealer this morning I think I’m going to try the Hamby’s light and do it myself.

I have had a pair of rocky blizzard stalker 1200 gram for three years and could not be happier..I can not help you compare the quality vs their older boots as this is my first pair of Rockies. I wear these almost ever day in winter and a couple times a weak in spring and fall/so far they have held up quite well. I don’t see any reason I wont get ten years out of this boot. They are water proof and allot warmer than i thought they would be(almost bought a heavier pack boot/glad I didn’t) They are a little slick when it is really icy/but what boot isn’t.I think I paid 120 for mine but last spring Gander Mtn had odd sizes on sell for 80 bucks. They happen to have my wife’s size, so she picked up a pair(she also loves hers) Hope this helps!!

Jon I have replaced plugs and the belt is in good shape also replaced fuel and air filter. Pump was the last maintenence item on my list and wanted to get it right, so I thank you for your advice. You mentioned having the codes checked and I was wondering, is there a specific reason for doing so? Thanks.

Hi. In my opinion an RCBS Rock Chucker is one of the best out there, and I happen to have the master reloading kit that I might consider parting with. See what other responses you get, see what’s out there, and if you happened to be interested please contact me. [email protected]. Thanks.

I have a lcx 27c mounted with ram micro/seems to hold well with very little vibration. Be sure base is mounted to secure area that you know wont vibrate.

To me there are two types of fishing shows, one simply for entertainment (with very little substance) and the other where the host/staff spends the majority of the program focusing on teaching his audience of all skill levels (seasonal patterns, boat position, weather factors, type of water-natural lake-river-reservoir, technique, etc.) while still catching fish. I feel IDO, The next bite, and Lidner all do a great job, with IDO being my fav! I personally don’t want specific lake, bay, or way-point locations just solid explanation how/why they arrived there. For myself the joy of fishing is applying past knowledge to decifer the present situation and hopefully being rewarded. I think shows like IDO are doing a great job of putting out good, specific info that can be used on your own body of water

Again thank you guys! Dan, I think I bought a combo unit but it has not arrived yet. If it is a combo unit, would it include the necessary adapters? And thanks for the welcome!

So my blue cords should just plug into the LCX-27 directly? I’m assuming because the GPS puck comes with the LCX-27 unit that I will not need an adapter from blue-to-red? In addition, I was hoping to link the two units (X-135 and LCX-27) together and for this, do you think I would need an adapter? Thanks again. Your advice is greatly appreciated.
