Maybe we should have gone through with the keystone? What happened there again?

The cancelled pipeline expansion from Alberta? I’m pretty sure we’re talking about the feasability of refining oil not from there. I guess you’ll have to explain how that would have helped.

Trains. I sat through a Railroad crossing in Kimball last Saturday for 15 minutes and 90% of the cars were oil cars.

Ok, I typed that wrong lol There are clearly many ways it could get there. How would it get there as efficiently as putting it in an existing pipeline?

And I seconded it! I was a dummy when I watched it the first time, I ended up watching a couple episodes of season 2 before 1. No idea how that happened. I think it was when the new season came out and I just clicked it and wasnt paying attention to that fact.

I never watched but knew it must be on Amazon if that happened, they have such a terrible interface.

Why don’t you have a box for every type and color. Do you need more crankbaits. Yes the problem is not enough crankbaits.

I’m down to a shallow box and a deep box and still most of them have never been used rotflol

I switched all mine to Lure Lock boxes, the sticky ones with no dividers. Seems like the most space efficient way to jam the most in with minimal tangling. They aren’t perfect but I spend a lot less time untangling hooks than I used to.

Depends where you live probably. For me FedEx will never be delivered the day it says, it will always update to 1 day later at some point and then be several hours after the delivery window listed.

USPS on the other hand only has two statuses: your package doesn’t exist and your package was delivered lol

I stand by my statement. The numbers may not be exact but they are there.

Ok, here is the softest of softballs: what is the Florida property? If you know he owns one and the value then you must know what the property actually is. Link it here.

After that date if you send a package and want tracking you’ll have to dig deeper into your coin purse. They call this new service “Tracking Plus”. I can’t see where it’s any different from the tracking they already offer

You don’t have to buy this unless you want them to retain the tracking information longer than they usually do.

he has sent Starlink systems to the FAA free of charge to keep everything running until something more permanent is ready. But yeah, he’s the bad guy.

I don’t even know why I’m wasting my time with this but it’s a lazy Sunday morning so why not…

A big part of what needs modernization is to replace TDM circuits (basically private dedicated lines) with IP based connectivity which is basically regular internet. I replaced many TDM circuits for customers in the last couple years and all we did was have them order Starlink and the problem was solved… rotflol rotflol rotflol

No, actually, the ISPs they use is literally the least important part and could be swapped out at any time. The actual work is how to connect their network to ours over those internet connections. There is a lot of equipment and configuration on both sides to make that happen in a way that is reliable and can deal with connectivity outages, regional outages, etc.

The only factors the internet connection plays is you want it to be generally reliable and diverse. For example, if I have two physical connections going out the same side of a building a backhoe could cut both of them at the same time. This is something that datacenters and serious businesses account for by having different ingress/egress points and ensuring physical lines don’t share the same path anywhere outside their building. If I used only Starlink what happens when it rains hard or their is high solar activity, those both interfere with it. Maybe physical and wireless (Starlink, cell, etc) would be a good mix, maybe wireless could be a third if all else fails option, and so on. Getting off track….

Ok, so simplest example is think of connecting to your work with a VPN. Does your work just ship you Starlink and you’re connected? No, it makes no difference what your home internet is; the VPN is what provides connectivity and Starlink is an option for it to ride on.

The idea that just shipping Starlink terminals somehow saves the FAA network from collapse is a joke.

    He has:
    $35 million home in Florida
$1.2 billion in an overseas bank account
    Owns 15 homes
    3 private planes
And a monthly income in the millions

Don’t forget his cousin is Soros if you’re repeating bullshit from Facebook!

Jag took place more in the courtroom if I recall. I guess NCIS might be a spin-off (I don’t recall) it just seems different then Jag.

It was really different but NCIS pilot/intro was a 2 parter in season 8 of JAG.

There’s not many better than the originals. Better Call Saul is probably the best I can think of. And, although there are much better ones since, Star Trek The Next Generation was a pretty huge improvement over the original. Would also add NCIS here since that’s a spinoff of JAG!

Ah ok, I agree that’s a fact if you arbitrarily qualify what you said to ignore most of his campaign. I’m sure there were a lot of voters fired up by Walz being governor here that would have been swayed by another Trump visit jester

St Cloud rally in July and Lincoln Reagan dinner in May don’t count for some reason?

Am I missing something…or is there a reason we can’t just seat people…in order? You know, people with tickets to the back of the plane board first and that’s how we fill it up?

I’m pretty sure the whole reason is overhead bin space and people bringing way too much poop. Once it runs out you might have to gate check your carry on so lots of people do actually want to get on first and claim their bin space.

If they’d actually limit carry ons correctly it wouldn’t be a problem. For me, one regular size backpack that fits on floor so I don’t have to worry about it and I want to get on last.

Reef, there’s many different components under the hood of a CA compliant car and a federal compliant car. It’s this way on cars from all of the last 3 decades. They’re different, tell me what you want but I see them every day.

Here’s window stickers for the first 2024 F150 and Tundras that I looked at that are both “50 states” compliant, aka California compliant. And the sticker for my RAM that says it’s CA compliant. What would be different in these?

Edit to add: checked some dealerships in North Dakota and Wisconsin and they are also 50 state vehicles sitting on the lots.

No, California and federal emissions have been different since the 90’s.

    Ok

I did not know that. Just pulled up the vin on 6 new cars and trucks in our lot and all have California emissions.

I think there are 14 or 15 states now that follow the California (and EPA 2012-2020) regs. I doubt there are many cars being made in separate versions anymore. Everyone go pop your hood and look at the sticker, I bet there’s a lot of California compliant vehicles you’re already driving.

Did y’all know those horrible California LEV requirements were the same as federal requirements from 2012 to 2020 until Federal got relaxed? We all seemed to survive that whistling

All the obvious ones already posted…

“Edge of Tomorrow” is really good I think

“Prey” is a newer Predator movie set in 1700 with indians that I thought was good, changes it up a lot from the usual formula.

“Sisu” is a kind of insane Finnish(?) movie, in English though, if you want to see a bunch of Nazis get blown up in ridiculous ways
