. I will have read the last response so it should not have looked like a new response. Not a big deal but strange
I think if someone edits a post it marks it unread again, not sure though.
Question for you guys – why does it come with a fuse on the positive terminal? I’ve never seen a fuse on a vexilar battery before. Is that just an amenity or is it needed for lithiums? Said another way, should we be running fuses on a standard lead battery on a vexilar? Or is there something about lithiums that need a fuse for protection of the electronics?
Lithium is capable of much higher current than lead acid if there is a short. You want the fuse to blow instead of your wiring melting.
yup
For comparison the ASN of my IP through Verizon is listed as 95.8% human.
That’s an Amazon/AWS ASN. Probably banned because of bots coming from there.
Its not a gas situation its like the governor or something engine revs up and down when not under a load.
That’s how snowblowers all are I thought? They’re tuned rich, which makes it surge, so that they have enough power when you hit thick snow. I have two troy-bilt, with different engines, and they both have done it since new. Once it’s under load they run smooth.

Not sure the level of danger this stuff would be, but the drones searching gotta be related to this, right?
Pretty much says it’s nothing in the notice and, if they are lying about that, why would they publish it at all?
I believe the grand wagoneer have had the 3.0 in them for a couple years, so it has been out for a
Yeah, 2022 was the first year I believe but I don’t think there are the numbers that there will be with them in RAMs. Seems like everybody else has had issues with the first gen of their turbos. Even though the Pentastar is lame I don’t really need anything more and plan to drive this into the ground like my previous 2013 so I just want something reliable. The Pentastar has been used in everything for like 14 years and doesn’t have expensive turbo stuff.
Also, I’ve made peace with buying a lame short boxed minivan engined truck after my previous “real” one so don’t make me change my mind about that again please
Haha yeah, same here and why I was asking.
They’ll have the kinks worked out when I get my 2037 model
That has the V6 Turbo correct?
No, I got the regular non-turbo v6 Pentastar they’ve had forever. It was, if I remember right, about $6k more for the new Hurricane and didn’t even come with the same package. The pentastar is relatively weak but only thing I tow is an aluminum Competitor 165 or smaller trailers so couldn’t justify it for towing and, more importantly to me, this is the first year the Hurricane will be widely used so I don’t trust it all.
The ones they are talking about have the battery built into the sole so all your weight is on it. Probably weak shitty construction so you eventually puncture the battery. I would think heated socks or other clothing where you just have a battery pack attached somewhere is much safer.
It’s missing stars and the moon but covers most of it
Now there’s mystery out of focus planes in MN too!

If it’s anything like the Chinese spy balloon, nothing will get done under the current admin.
The one that got shot down?
Drill baby drill… when we become closer to energy independent again… gas will go down as an offset.
Huh? What do you mean again, when are you talking about?
I would say I’ve never had a big jump with Progressive but they seem to be jacking rates in 2025.
For reference my 6 month premiums for 2 cars starting in January 2019 were:
594
596
599
597
590
602
835.50 (3 cars)
769.50
771.50
502 (back to 2 cars)
532
573
I just switch 2013 truck for 2025 truck and my policy adjusted to $735 for the remainder of the term. That seemed reasonable, I guess, since old truck was worth nothing and this is brand new. Now the renewal in January says it’s going to be $1097 which is ~50%
Googled a bit and found this from August of this year: Insurify predicts California, Missouri, and Minnesota could see car insurance costs increase by more than 50% in 2024. Damage from severe storms and wildfires contributes to rising rates in the states.
https://insurify.com/car-insurance/report/
Need to check around a bit and see if everybody is expensive now or what the deal is. Only did a Geico quote and it was $920 which isn’t as bad but still sucks.
Of course it’s “best” to stay in the manufacturer’s recommended range to be safe but I’ve never seen anything that definitively says very cold temperatures are actually a problem for LiFePO4 storage. There is no water in the electrolyte to freeze and most places only talk about the potential of the plastic cracking from the cold which seems unlikely. There is reduced discharge capacity at very low temps but that doesn’t matter for storage. Some companies like Trojan say you can store down to -40, see image attached. Personally, I doubt there is really anything that vastly different from one brand to another and the differences just come from what they have actually tested but in reality the cells are all roughly the same.
I wonder if there is a fire hazard leaving it on so long unsupervised. I know they usually have some kind of smarts in the controller now but I’ve seen the controller itself start smoking on one we had. What if a mouse chews something or who knows what could happen.
Huh I thought the trail terrains were less aggressive than AT adventures?
I just looked at pictures and you’re right, I must have been thinking back on a different set I had. The BFG were louder though, I could tell right away driving home with them. I miss then already though, got a new truck and can tell after 1 day in snow the factory tires are trash.
Edit: I was thinking of the tread on Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015, that’s what I had before Goodyears. I liked those tires too but they would never stay balanced. Maybe I just got a bad one, I don’t know.
Good luck, go ahead and send me the coordinates and I will do some digging for you!
Next day: Yup, there was a ton pheasants there!
One thing that people often don’t take into account is that when a nearby property sells, the recording of that transaction can set off a chain of valuation adjustments. That’s what I think happened to my farm property in Pine county. The neighbors property sold and what do you know? On my latest property tax statement my value has gone up to almost what was paid per acre for his property when he sold it. Coincidence???
But what can I do? I can hardly argue that my property isn’t worth what the property next door just sold for.
My cabin neighbor had his place listed for a year at a price that everyone made fun of, we all thought he was out of his mind. Well, some dumbasses from out of state actually bought it for really close to his asking price about month ago. My value went up about 50% basing it on that, we’ll see what happens next year.
Up 5.4% in Hennepin county for house and down a little in St Louis County for 2nd year in a row.
I heard his favorite movie as a kid was The Incredibles, remember Bob’s boss Gilbert Huph?
A new narrative is out speculating part of a motive.
While in college he played an assassin video game called “Among Us”, where some of the players were assigned to be secret killers and try to get away with it.
Wow, I haven’t heard video game scare mongering in a long time Among Us was incredibly popular for awhile…
Which the fact so few Health ins companies survived Obamacare is the opposite of free market capitalism.[/quote
Which year was Obamacare again?
Tariffs have been put in place since his first go around. This isn’t something new.
Not 25% or at all. For Mexico or Canada being the source as far as I can tell from HTS codes regular ATVs have no tarriff and side-by-sides are either free or 2.5% maybe depending on what the correct code is.
There are definitely places that don’t try to upsell, it’s important to find somewhere you trust. My 2013 RAM had an insane service schedule and the place I always brought it to for non-warranty stuff didn’t even want to do some of it half the time. I’d go pick it up and they’d say “it didn’t need X” and I’d have to tell them I know but I’m trying to follow the manual because of the lifetime warranty If they actually told me I needed stuff there was no doubt in my mind that it was needed.
In other news if anybody has one of those old mopar lifetime warranties they are really trying to get people out of them. I got an additional $5k bonus for trading it in for a new one on top of what my actual trade-in was before they knew this bonus applied. Was a real good deal since it only cost $2300 when I bought it 10 years ago and had already paid for itself in warranty repairs anyways.
It seems that for whatever reason the credit unions are more prone to getting their debit cards hacked. I was with Wells Fargo for like 30 years NEVER had card hacked. My wife was with the local credit union for like 10 years and its been hacked like 5 times and my son twice. So far so good now that I closed the WF account and moved there I havent been hacked yet.
I think that’s probably just using it somewhere that had a skimmer installed but I don’t know. Credit card skimmers are extremely hard to spot even if you’re looking for it and most people are going to swipe through whatever they’re presented.
In any case I find text message alerts for transactions very useful. Every time a card is used it immediately texts me. The couple times we’ve had fraudulent charges on a credit card I get a text for a charge I don’t recognize, call the bank, and the card is cancelled in 5 minutes after the first small test charge they did instead of letting them rack up a bunch of charges to deal with.
To each their own but that $5 a month gives me that piece of mind I guess.
Is that something that does all 3 bureaus or just one? All three bureaus have free freeze/unfreeze, they are required to, but they all also offer subscription services that they make easier to find. $5 seems reasonable if it does all three vs having to do each manually but just letting you know.
Also be aware of the difference between a “lock” and a “freeze”. https://www.nerdwallet.com/article/finance/credit-lock-and-credit-freeze
Reef I’ve got an intermediate ruffland and have been looking to upgrade to a large. Mine was a brand new Gen 2 last year. I’d be interested in a swap but I’m not sure where you’re located and when you’re looking to swap.
I’ll PM you. Didn’t think this would work
