I fish there usually twice a week…it’s started to pick up recently. I’ll get pics posted soon of them. If that was inches I’d be embarrassed! I’m down in white bear lake for the week and i’ve tryed my luck near ocesola on the croix from shore…not much happening
I fish a lot around the 175 bridge west of hallock and i’ve had great luck Just this past monday got two nice ones..17 and 19 not bad for 2 hours of fishing
Does the police or anyone there care about how late you can fish from shore by the stillwater bridge?? I’d like to do some night time catfishin but i’d like to make sure of this first
Is there a certain time you have to be out of the park area there?? I’d like to do some late nite catfishing there but I wasn’t sure if there is a certain time that you have to leave or not. I also notice that the south point must be pretty shallow straight out from it.
yep that was me…I’ll try to get up there 1 more time before I go back home. I figured I wasn’t there at the best time of day but I thought i’d try it anyways. I’ll keep watch for ya if i’m there again
I fished right north of the bridge from shore today. I got 1 small white bass and thats it So I tryed the south point of the park and got nothing. I had my cat rod out with a sucker on and I didn’t get any bites Any suggestions on what to try? Is there ever fish caught in that backwater on the west side of the park?
Thanks for the invite! I’ll be down there next week and I was just curious if it’s worth shore fishing around the bridge? Should I use slip bobber..spoons..etc??
I was going to try fishing from shore underneath the osceola bridge. The question I have what works best for walleyes..northern..etc? Is it worth fishing catfish from shore here? Thanks for all advice
