Take the length 23″ and cube it: 23X23X23=12,167 now divide the number 12,167 by 1660= 7.32 pounds or a good fish anywhere.

    Hey “Old Ranger”

I haven’t been on Beaver for about 8 years so I’m probably the wrong guy to ask for a quick answer. But for the record; I don’t like big strippers they look funny in G-Strings and jiggle too much (Just Kidding) I’ll do some research for you,and get back to ya. I have a good line on the stipers at Norfolk which is close-by to Beaver and those fish are massive. Talk to you soon…Good Fishun.

    Steve:

I’m just ouside of St.Louis, so the “Rock” is about 4.5 hours away in SW Missouri. If your taking the family, Table Rock is great…The Lake scenery is awesome and there’s lots to do in Branson and of course Bass Pro Shops is close by. But the fishing although improving has been tough. And is better generally as a smallmouth and spotted bass lake then a largemouth. Some monster Walleye but they always seem scattered to me. I great April trip is Lake of the Ozarks, generally the bass are really on and 5 fish limits of 20# are pretty common. Last April I saw two 9# fish weighed in one tournamnet, glad I did’nt fish that one. Anyway I spemd alot of time on Lake of the Ozarks but don’t get to Table Rock often.

If you need info on any Missouri Lakes let me know between me and my buddies we stay pretty current on our intelligence. If you want to head to Lake of the Ozarks the Osage River below the dam has a good population of of 4-5# pound Walleye. So if you change your plans, I’m confident I can put you on some fish there but will have to do some scouting for you at Table Rock. Shoot me an e-mail when you get a chance and I’ll get you hooked up. Good Fishun

Thanks to all that replied to my question I appreciate your counsel and will give it a good try this weekend. As I side-note, I have shortened my drop to about 6″ current has been moderate for pool 24 but the fish seem to be a little finicky. This weekend we’re expecting 50 degrees with some cloud cover so conditions will be comfortable to fish in. Ya-All come down sometime and try our MIssouri Walleyes & Sauger. Again, thanks you Yankees are class acts!
