Always wanted to participate in tournaments that are advertised, however I am a little embarrassed of my boat set up and was wondering if others have boats that are less than impressive and are fished in these tournaments. I know its not the boat that catches the fish but I dont want to look ridiculous.

Yep been using P90X for about 7 weeks and as some of you mentioned thus far, if you dont stay with the meal plans or eat in a healthy manor you will not see the same results as if you were. The workouts were tough when I first started out and have progressively gotten easier. Like I said, I have been using this for about seven weeks, however, it seems that I miss at least 2 or 3 workouts a week do to poor habits and the fact that you are watching a video while trying to pump some iron. I would have to believe that if one was to follow the strict regimen, and let me tell you its not easy, then yes they probably would see better results than I. I shouldn’t complain to much, as I am in the best shape I have been in, in over a year. Also, the workouts are for those that are in some kinda of shape besides round

I certainly will be in the woods this next go around. Seen several small bucks throughout the first season and had one close to the 130 mark I passed with the bow. Hopefully those big boys show themselves now. So far this has been the worst season as far as brusier buck encounters I can remember. Good luck to the rest of you!

Why do you think they call this the rut? Hardly any movement, zero shooters and one frozen bum! That is in my opinion definitely a rut. Talked to several buddies from Iowa and Missouri, said this is the best and most activity they had ever seen. What is wrong with MN?

I have the black one. It is a great gun. It obviously isn’t going to compare to any T/C gun, however the price was right and the wallet was tight. Make sure you get one with metal sights as the plastic ones have a tendency to get nocked off. They are easy to clean and are accurate at over 100 yards. In all great gun, easy to figure out and lots of fun.

What was the initial reaction of this buck? DId he bolt, or hunch or maybe a mule kick?

You did not blow it by any means. My old man shot a huge 140 plus inch 8 point the other day. I thought great not only did he take the bruiser out of the area but we gutted him close to wear he went down, only about 50 yards from the stand site. I thought for sure this area was done for awhile if not the rest of bow season, however two days later from this same site I seen two eights chasing one doe with a whopper ten point close behind grunting like crazy. So there you have it, during this time of the year the big boys have one thing on there mind.

I second that, seems that everybody I know is bagging themselves nice bucks, everybody but myself. It is only a matter of time now, hopefully that big boy will show up here in the next couple of days.
