Don’t know if anyone is interested but I have a terrova 101 with ipilot and the link up for sale I upgraded to the 112 terrova but can guarantee the motor will hold about any rig on anchor along the river! I have a 620 and it worked flawless! My buddy bought a ulterra so I couldn’t resist his offer to buy his 112! $1000 could be your early Xmas present to yourself let me know! 641-220-0168 thanks

The stacker is this like the shank I use handlineing? 5 ft leader with cleaves every 6 inches or so?

Just a question about three way rigs? I have hand lined and lead line and long lined all on the river at different times! But haven’t ever pulled cranks on three ways! Your probly thinking why not right! Well I haven’t ever made a trip when that seemed like the thing to but thinking about trying it soon! My question is how much weight on dropper and how much line back to crank from three way swivel? I would assume the same cranks I run when I handline would work just fine? Appreciate the feedback just haven’t ever tried this method yet! Sounds like fun though!

Hey fife thanks for the offer on the birds! I’m really leaning toward the helix 9 with si tho have been researching and talking with a lot of people about this and really like the auto hart idea of the helix! Tho i may still be interested in the units you have to replace the other two on my boat! Send me a pm and we can talk! Thanks

How offen do you guys use or really rely on the side imaging? And where does it really work great at? One guy at a local boat center who sells hummingbird actually talked me out of side imaging today! Said if there are weeds on bottom it’s hard to see the fish and if the walleye is 50 left of the boat are you really going to see it on the graph! Just when I thought I had a good idea on what direction to go I don’t know again! I fish the river maybe a dozen times in the spring and half a dozen in fall winter. Do a lot of spring and early summer trolling, have a upper red trip booked for June so does a guy really need to spent the extra $300-400 on side imaging but are you a fool to not spend it when buying a new unit! Hell I just don’t know!!! Question is are you guys ecstatic about your side imaging or should a guy just use the down imaging? Thanks for the advice

Thanks for the report! Just thought it was odd no one was reporting! I totally agree with your report last few times I’ve been there the majority of people were vertical! Not many fish showing up for their efforts! I agree try a few different tactics and one will pay off! My key this year has been the wire in my hand if you know what I’m talking about!! People look at you funny and probly wonder if I even had a pole but the results in the box speak for itself!

Hey Scott reading your post and thought I’d share a bit of info! First off get a guard on your kicker motor this is a must when pulling wire! Next boat control is key and maintaining a speed under 1mph up stream! First eyelet above weight on Clovis run your first line back about 10-12 ft to a #7-11 original floating rap next line attaches 2-3 eyelets above the first line this is something you will have to fine tune as you fish to determine the best eyelet and line length. I use 30lbs mono on both lines the second line length is usually double the bottom length so about 20-24 ft! The reason for the 30 lb mono is it doesn’t tangle as easy and has no memory! Throw out the highest line first then the bottom line then drop the weight trying to maintain a 45 degree angle with wire and bottom contact! Try to zig zag the boat up stream and just get ready once they start biting it’s a blast! guys may look at you funny when doing this but they will want to be in your boat when the bite is on!!! The first time out try using just one line id use the short one but once you figure out the boat control and speed add the second line to double your odds! The wire will either get heavier or start shaking and tugging when fish on just bring them in slow and no reason to set the hook! They are hooked when they bite just due to the speed and current! Just take your time and be patient and you’ll figure it out pretty quick! Any more questions pm me and I’ll give you my phone number! To ask more guest ions if you have any! Good luck right wire!!!!
